Movies vs Real life : Does smoking look cool? - Page 2

I dislike smoking real and onscreen. It's polluting the scene too. Smoking is assisted with masculinity and hence is shown onscreen. But never understood the idea of inhaling smoke to ruin your lungs

well smoking for men particularly stands for manliness no matter how people deny it but that's the truth, esp if they are in groups or some adda u shall definitely see them having puffs, and let's not talk about parties.

coming to women, its a way of showing off, What I have seen or experienced that women smoke mostly in kitty parties or if they are celebrities, or if accessible. the ratio of men smoking is obviously bigger.

most of my friends who are males do smoke but they don't talk to us while smoking, so that's one thing I don't really mind, i mean they r adults enough, if they ruin themselves, let'em do so LOL

Coming to Movies ; It's mostly the same thing, they even show college boys/students smoke despite they should be the first one to put an end to this, i mean they r teens/college students (movies - jjws, soty ETC)

I think it does look cool. It's unhealthy of course but aesthetically it does.

lung cancer sure ain't cool.Also smoke in your own room,I hate people who smoke in road busstop autos etc n get angry if you ask them to drop the cigarette. Passive smokers get more affected ,why should I die for your nasha

Smoking is never cool folks, not when it can contribute to your mentioned lung cancer, mouth sores , is bad for asthma/ allergies and for women it contributes to cracked, wrinkly lips.

In Europe, people smoke indoors in pubs which is by far the worst.

Naah. Smoking in cinema is usually used as a power move to show ultra masculinity WHICH IS A BIG LOL since the most common reason for smoking is stress 😆 So its not cool at all.

Smoking is always opposite of cool.

Hate those especially who smoke in public. Sometimes I even cough intentionally to make those smoking in public feel guilty but I think it hardly works. 😡
