Superb update. Finally the loud mouthed mohini has found her match or even better in priya bose. The broke line actually cracked mei upđ€Ł. Lovely
Love it â€ïž
I love kookie so much
Priya Bose vs Mohini Basu Bring it on đ
Thank you đ€
Love the update. Mohini is going to be spitting fire! Love how Priya put her in her place! Ha ha Who did? I have about 3 text replyâs with the exact same statement. Iâm waiting fo the day where Prerna says Girl, Bye! To Nivi and Mohini! Love Daddy Bajju and Kookie Babyâs adventures to the malls! đ€Ł
Hilarious update
Cookie is so cuteđ
Loved Rishabh & Kookie's day at Mall
The broke part was hilarious đ
Liked how Priya Bose behaved with Mohiniđ
Waiting for next
Amazing update.
Kookieđ€Ł. She is such a cute and naughty kid, doing all masti and making sure everyone listens to her. Kookie and her Kookie's Cookiesđ. Prerna is broke, Baja's wife is broke, this has to be a big joke. No wonder he is making sure this is not the case now. I pity Rishabh for taking care of and to listen to Kookie, Prerna, and Priya.
What Prerna need to take permission from Priya to skip class? Priya is really making sure she fulfills her wishes from Prerna which she couldn't do with her sons. I loved Priya for the way she took care of Basus. She is savage.
I read all your updates till 9. I really like the comic timing in your story, the candidness, the smirks etc. Funny and cool. đ However, sometimes I feel, everyone has a Kookie streak in them.
And I haven't understood something. In the beginning you mentioned, Bajaj's parents are dead and someone killed his parents. And now we have his Mom.
And why Las Vegas? Is this story not set in India? Why did she run to Las Vegas from India?
I haven't yet gotten the hang of Bajaj and Prerna here, coz there's a lot of action in their lives but I guess things would get clear soon.
I like this character priya... Very different
Want to see how rishpre dynamics change
Chapter 10
Rishabh Bajaj hated the day his custody battle results came in. His mother, Priya Bose, and her husband, Advay Mishra, spared no attempt to rub the salt in Suvarna Bajajâs wounds.
The story was that Suvarna Bajaj scorned Advay Mishra to marry the illustrious Hritesh Bajaj even going to the lengths of aborting Advayâs unborn child. Hritesh and Suvarna couldnât conceive for the longest time and resorted to assisted reproduction to give birth to Shnehal Bajaj. Snehal Bajaj was subjected to various complicated medical treatments before Hritesh Bajaj lost all hope. He divorced his wife and married the newly orphaned Priya Bose and conceived a son with her. He promptly divorced her when he realized he would have to fight for her inheritance. Hritesh Bajaj went back to his first wife and married her now that he had a legal heir later blackmailing Priya Bose to be his sonâs nanny if she wanted to be close to Rishabh.
As fate would have it, Rishabh Bajaj grew closer to his nanny as compared to his mother to Suvarna Bajajâs ire. Somewhere down the line, Advay Mishra married Priya Bose and united forces against the Bajajsâ and Bose family. It took less than a year for Priya Bose to win back her fortune, her dignity and give birth to Reyansh Mishra. It took much longer for her to solidify her stance in society. Slowly but surely, Priya Bose won Rishabhâs custody but chose to let Rishabh stay with his father for a duration stipulated by her.
Priya Bose took back the embarrassment, humiliation and loss of dignity the Bajaj couple served her. She made sure Rishabh was set to inherit the whole Bajaj fortune. Hritesh Bajaj had no other choice. Suvarna Bajaj wouldnât let him pull a stunt like that again, his love Priya Bose was happily married and his son preferred his stepfather to his real father. So, when Priya Bajaj heard the first whiff of Snehal Bajaj marrying for love, she stayed put. When she heard of Snehalâs husband marrying her for money, she watched the game. And when Snehalâs husband threatened her Rishabh, Priya Bose made sure to end him and his existent and non-existent bloodline. No one survived threatening her family. Heartbreak be damned. What was Hritesh Bajaj? Her first love her own parents never let her marry. Her first love who had brutally betrayed her.
She had raised Rishabh not to believe in love. Love wasnât a miracle but a rational decision made to secure you for life. With not only wealth but warmth, comfort, and companionship.
So, every year, Priya Bose and Advay Mishra celebrated their family. They celebrated the day their eldest son came home. Rishabh Advay Bose Bajaj. Or Rishabh Advay Hritesh Bajaj as the Bajajsâ liked to call him to nurse their wounded ego. But the fact didnât change that he didnât carry his biological fatherâs name. He carried Advayâs name and the Bose Bajaj legacy.
So, every year, Priya and Advay dragged their sonsâ home irrespective of their business/work/ or whatever excuses they came up with. Kookie and Priyansh loved the little holiday they could hold hands and act all cute in temples.
Rishabh Bajaj was in New York with Aahana Kapoor who was filming for her recent film with Reyansh Mishra.
Aahana Kapoor was known for being friend swith Rishabh Bajaj. It was also known that they were more than friends in most instances. And who knew Kookie knew that she absolutely loathed Aahana Kapoor since birth. Rishabhâs very clingy baby hated anyone and everyone who stole her daddyâs attention.
So, when Kookie met Aahana Kapoor on the sets of Reyanshâs and her previous films. And Aahana Kapoor stole Kookieâs daddyâs attention amidst her gurgling. And daddy paid attention to Aahana as compared to her. Kookie cried for a whole day much to Priya Boseâs amusement who loved this little ball of adorableness.
Safe to say, any day Kookie spotting him with Aahana was not a good day for him. It also established the fact that there couldnât be anything between Rishabh and Aahana for Rishabh never went against Kookieâs wishes, even for himself.
His mother, Priya Bose, often accused him of calculating Kookieâs birth so he could avoid human contact and relationships. A fact Rishabh scoffed at but would belatedly admit was true.
So that weekend when Aahana Kapoor found a way to accompany Rishabh into his Bajaj into his room. And when she lazily kissed, Rishabh didnât find himself blindly responding to her. Upon multiple failed attempts she pushed him on the bed before giving up.
âWeâve done this before, you know.â she said to him, fixing her hair, âItâs a transaction, Rishabh. We do stuff, feel good, move on. Why do you getting married have to change anything?â
How could Rishabh tell her he longer felt the need of letting go of his life? That for the first time in forever he found a grip on life, of sorts? And for once, he didnât feel like letting go.
So, he smiled at Aahana Kapoor. And she fell on the bed beside him.
Why couldnât he fall in love with her?
âWhat if Yuvraj had been alive?â he said to her referring to her dead fiancĂ©.
âWhat if you married me?â she countered.
âKookie isnât your biggest fan. We would have both been kicked out by Ma.â
Aahana laughed. The Bose boss lady absolutely hated her for having an illicit affair with her son. Aahana couldnât be surprised that Priya kept her miles away from Kookie never even letting her say hi to the toddler forget meeting her. And Kookie hated spotting her dad with anyone else. But most of all Aahana knew, like her, Rishabh didnât want to commit to someone else. She knew he would always marry someone of Priyaâs choice. Just as she knew he would be aloof towards his new wife. And he did stay true to her assumptions.
So, Aahana found herself shocked when Sneha âKookieâ Bajaj came to the film sets with her Mommyin tow. Kookieâs Mommy was breathtakingly beautiful dressed in a red halter neck chikankari kurta paired with a white palazzo. Kookie was dressed in stark contrast to her mom wearing ankle-length jeans, a baby Chanel jumper and her hair tied in a messy bun.
Kookie, a frequent visitor on sets with Priyansh, jumped into her Daddyâs arms. Bajaj then kneeled down and picked his nephew in another arm only for Priyansh hug his chachu a little more. Kookie relented much to Aahanaâs amusement. âStay away from Rey,â she told Priyansh in gibberish. And soon enough when Kookieâs Rey chachu came Kookie spent ages in his arms going over scripts. Soon enough, Priyansh who couldnât be isolated from Kookie for long followed Kookie towards his father.
Prerna Sharma gave Rishabh a warm side hug, smiling for their audience.
âMrs. Bajaj,â Rishabh said to her.
âAh, Bajju, missed me?â she joked.
âYouâre constantly hovering around. Miss karne ka mauka kahan deti ho?â he joked as he pecked her on the cheek.
âAw, donât act cute, Mr. Bajaj,â Prerna said as she playfully tapped him on the chest. She smiled at him, looked him in the eye and said cutely, âI know all about your last night kartoot. Kookie ko batau?â
Bajaj smiled as he quirked an eyebrow. âHaq jamana, Mrs. Bajaj? Abhi se?â he smiled and he held her back gently, leading her to the room.
âWhat is a businessman like you doing on film sets?â she questioned him annoyed.
âCareful, Mrs. Bajaj,â he stifled a laugh, âSomeone might mistake you for a jealous wife.â
âAur hoon toh?â Prerna prodded before coming to a sudden stop. She stared Bajaj straight in the eye, in all seriousness and said, âI quite like that role!â
Rishabh rolled his eyes. There we went again. âBut I donât like that at all,â he said to her.
âOf course, you like to be locked in hotel rooms with random actresses and then make front page news,â she smirked. âDo you have blinds about you? Fan pages? Dirt pages? Fangirls I need to anonymously feed information to?â
Bajaj threw his head back and groaned in exasperation? What did he get himself into?
âKookie and I could totally run a page,â Prerna sighed. âI even taught of the name,â she clapped her hands.
No wonder Ma liked her. They were equally crazy!
âNo, thank you, Prerna,â warned Bajaj.
âCome on, Bajju, it will be cute. Imagine Kookie with a wobbly camera following you around,â Prerna smiled as she made a frame with her hands. âForget a fan page, we could have a fan page and a vlog!â
Bajaj turned and called the director, âSinha Saab, I heard you have tons of scripts awaiting a producer. Prerna here is absolutely free and would love to read them. If you would be kind enough send them so Mrs. Bajaj here would have her pick. That would be nice of you.â
Prerna pinched Bajaj making him go âouchâ. The audacity.âI donât like reading,â she scowled at him.
âNo wonder Kookie hates school,â he shook his head at her. âJust like her mom. Speaking of which, donât you have exams to study for Prerna?â
Prerna gave him a side eye. âSmart people donât study for exams, Bajaj. We ace them,â she countered.
âAnd how would you like to produce this film, Prerna?â he questioned her as he seated in the makeshift beach chair for shade.
âAnd how would I afford that, Bajju?â she laughed at him.
âWhy do you have to afford things? Just stake a claim and watch it happen,â he smiled at her warmly. âYouâre a Bajaj, now. Or a Bose, if my mother would have it her way.â
Prerna Sharma Bajaj
Thatâs what her bank accounts and other Bajaj linked accounts said.
âBefore you go all feminazi on me. There are a hundred Prerna Sharmaâsâ, if not a thousand. But there is one Prerna Sharma Bajaj. It makes it easier for everyone. Your personal IDâs are your choice. ButâŠâ he said it.
âI get it,â she had smiled at him. âI wasnât sure if I could claim your name,â she said to him.
Surprisingly, it hadnât felt as oppressive as the internet made her feel. She felt safe.
She was but a small town, middle-class girl thrust into the world of bigwigs, constantly made to believe she wasnât good enough. She hadnât known if she sought validation but it felt good to be acknowledged for once. To belong to a family. To have a family. Parents. Husband. And a kid.
âItâs Bajaj or Priya would have made you a Bose in matters time,â he laughed trying to lighten the moment as he felt Prerna tear up.
âI like Bajaj,â she smiled at him.
âYou can take both,â
âThen Iâll have three surnames,â
âYou can drop one,â
She looked at him in confusion. ââŠ.â
âI wonât tell Ma you dropped Bose,â he laughed.
âBut I didnât,â Prerna said shocked at the accusation. Bajaj only laughed at her reaction.
A few meters away Reyansh who held Kookie in his arms said to her, âKookie baby hates it when someone talks to her Daddy. And Kookie hates it more when someone talks to her Mommy. But, Kookie, what if they talk to each other?â
Kookie gave Reyansh a blank stare. She never thought of this. But it would be fine as long they didnât like anyone more than her, she decided. She could play with Priyansh.
A/N
I hope this explains the confusion a bit.
Thank you for the lovely comments, guys. I hope the first part addressed the issue with the family line. Please do like/ comment to show your presence. It truly motivates me.

Ah, I do too! I do too!
The battle to change the name and Prerna wonđ.
So Prerna left Basu to marry Bajaj. And thankfully, she is happy about it for a change. They shifted to an apartment and she calls him Bajjuđ.
So he knows her before and she agreed to the deal for the money to save her family.
I liked Kookie and Big Kookie interactions. He needed a friend too apart from a mother for his daughter. Looks like Prerna doesn't know about Sneha being her biological daughter.
I love the banter between mother-beti. Priya is his mother. Interesting.
Nice updates. Please to continue soon.
Prerna always wins. đ€Ł
Bajju is cute. đ€Ș
Prerna is such a cute mom. Prerish as parents are life.
I will continue soon! I'm trying to update as fast as I can. But it makes me delay my replies! The struggle! đłđ„ș
