After spending few days in Rajgarh, Maan and Geet returned to Delhi. Geet started her daily household chores on returning. Savitri Devi had made a vow to visit Badrinath and Kedarnath once Geet recovers after being shot. So Savitri Devi along with Rajeev left for pilgrimage, not realising what storm will occur in their absence. Now youngsters - Maan, Vicky, Riddhima and Geet were at home. After Savitri Devi's leaving, Geet started feeling very tired during evenings. She also use to find some smells too overpowering giving her a nauseous feeling. For sometime she ignored it thinking as she has whole responsibility of home, she is getting tired! But when it was not reducing she finally went and met Dr. Sudha Krishnan. Dr. Krishnan did some blood tests and told Geet results will be available in a weeks time!
It was eight months since Maan & Geet were married. Holi was round the corner, Geet's first holi after her wedding! Geet and Riddhima were planning "Holi" party. As Riddhima was having exams and Geet's college was having holidays, Geet went to old Delhi for doing Holi shopping.
As it was peak time of the day she did not bother to inform anyone just went with Khurana's driver, Ramlal. While she was choosing colours she suddenly felt her whole world spinning and collapsed in dead faint. People around in the market, tried to revive her but couldn't so they took her to the private hospital nearby. In this chaos, Geet's phone also got misplaced, making Geet disconnected from her loved ones!
Location: KHURANA MANSION
It was now 4pm, Geet has still not returned. Maan, Vicky and Riddhima were also not at home. Finally Nakul fearfully called Maan and informed him that Geet had gone at 11a.m. to old Delhi and still not returned.
Maan roared, "Usse akele kyun jaane diya?Phone kiya?" (Why did you let her go alone? Have you called?)
"Bahurani phone nahi uttha rahi." (Yes but Ma'am is not answering the call)
"Ramlal ko phone kiya?" (Did you call the driver?)
"Woh wahin kadha hai jahaan bahurani uttari theen. Usse kuch nahin pata" (Yes but he is still waiting where he dropped her!)
"Kaka aap ghar par rahiye main dekhta hoon. Agar Anjali ka phone aayega mujhe turant batayega." (You stay at home. Call me as soon as you hear any news)
"Theek hai!" (OK)
Maan called Commissioner Shekhawat and told him about Geet missing. Mr. Shekhawat said he will personally look into it. Vicky and Riddhima returned and were horrified to know about Geet missing! Riddhima was feeling very guilty to let Geet go alone to Old Delhi. Whole day passed and whole night. Police were also not able to locate Geet as they were mainly tracking her phone. Maan again called Mr. Shekhawat,he yelled at his police force to change their tactics and start looking for a person not phone. Geet had not returned the whole night! Maan's now insecurity and possessiveness was growing by leaps and bounds, constantly recalling Anjali and Rahul's meeting.
Geet gained her consciousness and found herself surrounded by white sterile walls and strong antiseptic smell making her realise she is in hospital.
She looked around but found no one. Her eyes happened to see a newspaper lying on the chair near her bed. When she saw the date she was shocked, the date was of next day and time 9am. She realised whole day and night she was unconscious. Maan must have been so worried. She looked for her phone but couldn't find it. She got up and ran out of the hospital. She hailed a passing by taxi and reached KM.
On reaching KM,the gaurd saw her and was relieved and asked her where she was? She replied in hospital. She entered KM and found no one around. She went to study room.
In study room, whole family was at table discussing how to find Geet. When they heared Geet's anklet's sound everyone looked in her direction. Vicky and Riddhima looked at her dishevelled appearance and asked, "Where were you, Bhabhi?”
“What happened to you?"
Just then she saw Maan's blood shot red eyes. He thundered "Where the hell were you?"
"Hummein shama kijiye ki humare kaaran aap chintith(worried) the. Hum ek haspataal (hospital) mein murchit (unconscious) the!" (Please forgive me for causing you worry! I was in a hospital unconscious)
"Toh phone kyun nahi kiya?" (Why didn't you call?)
"Humara phone kaheen kho gaya hain jab hum bazaar mein murchit hue the! Hum toh abhi taxi lekar aaye hain!" (My phone is misplaced while I fainted in market. I came by taxi home)
"Kaunsa hospital?" (Which hospital?)
"Hummei yaad nahi kyunki hum jaise sachet hue hum yahaan daure (running) chale aaye!" (I don't know the name as I ran back as soon as I came to my senses!)
"Kahani acchi banayi hai!Tum kahogi aur main maan loonga." (Wow! What a story! You think I'll believe you!)
"Kahani nahi, yeh satya hai!" (Its not a story but truth.)
"Kya saboot hai ki tum hospital mein theen, kahin aur nahin?" (What proof is there that you were in Hospital and not somewhere else?)
"Bhai aap Khurana Hospital phone karke pooch lijiye?" (Why don't you call Khurana Hospital and find out?) Vicky suggested
"Hum Khurana Hospital mein nahin the! Hummein haspataal ka naam nahin jyat hai."(I was not at Khurana Hospital. I don't know the name of hospital.)
"Naam nahin maloom, ki sacch nahin batana chahiti?" (You don't know the name, or don't want go tell the truth?)
"Kaisa sacch?" (What truth?)
"Ki tum poori raat Rahul Sharma ke saath...!"(That you were whole night with that Rahul Sharma!) Maan kicked the coffee table in anger. All the teacups, teapot, plates etc. on the table fell down breaking them into small pieces.
FLASHBACK
Once Mrs. Sharma had sent a parcel for Dadimaa through Rahul. As Dadimaa was not at home, Geet accepted it on her behalf and Maan saw Geet accepting a parcel from Rahul thereby increasing Maan's insecurity and possessiveness since then! Name Rahul Sharma was anyway a sore topic for him.
"Chi! Aap ko shram nahi aati aasi baath karte huye?" (How can you say such a embarassing thing?)
"Jab tumhe karte huye shram nahin aati, toh mujhe bolene mein kyun aaye?" (When you were not embarassed to do such a thing, why should I be embarassed to say?)
"Bhai aap kahaan ki baat kahaan le jaa rahe hain?" Vicky interrupted. (What nonsense are you saying Bro!)
"Vicky, tum Geet ke parivar ko nahin jaante. Iske pita ne apne he parivar ka khoon kiya hai toh isse kya expect kiya jaa sakta hai! Agar tum chahti ho iss ghar mein rahena to pehle saboot lao jiss hospital mein kal tum admitted theen." (Vicky you don't know her family. Her father murdered his real brother and his family. What can be expected from a daughter of such family! If you want to live in KM. Bring proof of where you were last night?)
"Hum aap se keh rahe hain hummein nahin jyat ki woh kaun sa haspataal tha. Aap to hum se pyar karte hain, aur hum par hi sandeh (suspect) kar rahe hain?"(I'm telling the truth that I don't know the name of the hospital. You love me then how can you doubt me?)
"Main tumse koi pyaar vaar nahi karta. Mujhe tum chahiye theen, thumhari khubsoorti chahiye thee aur uss thappad ka badla bhi chahiye tha jo tumne mujhe maara tha.Main janta tha ki shaadi ke bina tum meri bahaon mein nahi aaogi issliye tum se shaadi karni paadi. Tumse shaadi karne se Dadimaa ko bhi khush kar diya! Tumhe uss din goli lag gai toh mujhe laga ki tum mujhe chodhe chali jaogi. Magar woh main kabhi hone nahin deta, kyunki TUM SIRF MERI HO MAAN SINGH KHURANA KI AMAANAT (possession) HO! TUMHE MUJH SE BHAGWAAN BHI NAHI CHEEN SAKTE!!! Magar humara baccha paida hone se pehle hi maar gayaa uss goli se, jo main kabhi nahin chanta tha. Kyunki woh mera khoon tha. Khair, bacche ke jaane se kamse kam meri ek kamzori kam ho gayi." (I don't love you. I wanted you, I wanted your beauty and I wanted revenge for the slap you gave me. I knew that you won't come close to me till we got married. The day you were shot, I was scared that I've lost you. As YOU ARE ONLY MINE. MY POSSESSION. NO ONE CAN TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME , NOT EVEN GOD! Only tragedy was that we lost our baby. The baby who was my part! But by loosing our child my weakness is also lost!) Maan told his purpose behind marrying her. While speaking these hurtful words there was slight twitch of pain in his heart which he ignored!
" Aap hum se prem nahin karte? Humara baccha margaya?" Geet said in a state of shock! Geet spoke like a lifeless statue,"Aap hum se prem nahin karte? Humara baccha margaya...hum se prem nahin karte? Humara baccha margaya... (You don't love me! Our baby is no more...)
"Haan! I DONT LOVE YOU! Haan! Maar gaya humara baccha! Mai uss ladki se pyaar nahi karta jo har raat ek naya aashiq ki bahaon mei ho!" Maan ruthlessly & sarcarstically said. (Yes I DONT LOVE YOU! Yes. Our baby is no more! How can I love a characterless girl like you!)
Geet could bear her humilation no more. "BUS KIJIYE ! Agar aap YUVRAJ MAAN SINGH KHURANA hain toh hum bhi RAJKUMARI GEETANJALI HAIN koi raaha chalti ladki nahi ! Jab iss rishte main koi prem, samaan, vishwas aur bharosa nahi, toh yeh rishta chodhna hi accha! App kya hummein chodhein gayen, hum swayam iss ghar ko chodhtei hain!" (Enough! If you are Crowned Prince MAAN SINGH KHURANA then even I'm Princess GEETANJALI not a vagabond on the roadside. Where there is no love, respect, trust or faith in a relationship, its better to leave the relationship. Who are you to give me permission to live in this house? I on my accord leave this house.)
"Agar tum iss ghar is bahar gayeen toh wapis nahi aa sakhteen" (If you leave this home, you can never return!) Maan gave an ultimatum.
"Jiss ghar mein humare swabhimaan ko, humare parivar ke samaan ko aur humare charith ka itna uppmaan hua ho wahan hummein rahana bhi nahi!". (The place where my self-respect, my parents respect and my character was disrespected, I will not stay in that house!)
Geet went to pooja ghar and brought 'ganga-jal'.
Geet took 'ganga-jal' in her hand murmuring some shloks and said in firm and raised voice,"Hum aaj yeh pratigya (vow) lete hain, ki humare iss jeevan mein, hum aapke jeevan mein, Khurana parivar mei aur iss chaukhat mein kabhi bhi pair(feet) nahi rakhenge! Aaj se Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana jeevit nahi hai! Aaj Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana ka 'shraadh' ho gaya! Abb Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana ka koi astitva nahi hai!!!!"(Today I take a vow - in my this birth, I will never in your life, in Khurana family and in this house ever enter again! From today,Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana is dead. Today Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana's yearly death rites(shraadh) are done. From today, there no identity of Geetanjali Maan Singh Khurana).
Then she sprinked pure ganga-jal on herself and started walking towards the main door, unmindful of broken shards of glass which pierced her delicate feet. Making foot-prints of blood going out of the house!!!
Leaving a victorious and unrepentful Maan.
Vicky and Riddhima ran behind her shouting"bhabhi... bhabhi...bhabhi... bhabhi"
All this was recorded by Nakul. Who was given instructions to record anything not correct happening in KM while Savitri Devi was not there!
