Best line up for a star in recent past. They all are potential 200 Cr movies. So, all the ridicule of lack of 200 Cr might be answered in a single year like never before.

If that happens people will start asking for 300 Cr. Read somewhere he has a Raju Hirani project in talks as well. That would be the ultimate high for him as a solo star. The other would be from the supposedly super cop franchise that Rohit Shetty is planning.

Dude they have multiple 300+ crore movies, that's not all because of freaking holiday's..even Bharat, a Salman Khan movie that underperformed made more than every Akshay movie.

A good film + Solo festival release can definitely bring you the goods. If Kabir Singh n Sanju had released during EDX, they wud hv crossed 400 Crs. If u think, EDX has no advantages, u are mistaken. Thugs or Tubelight or even Bharat wud hv struggled to cross 100 Crs if it had released on regular days and with a clash. Aamir and Salman hv been very lucky so far.

Next year will be an Acid test for Salman and Aamir

Obviously it has benefits but not to that extent. They haven't been lucky, they have build their star power and a reputation for themselves which is how they get so many blockbusters. I'm not even a fan of most of Salman Khan's movies this decade but he basicallydelivered blockbusters every year until the last one which is quite impressive.

Acting like it's all because of holiday releases is ridiculous. No one dares to clash against them anyway, especially not Salman. Akshay is nowhere close to these two and I doubt he will ever be (Ranveer has potential, that's it)

If holidays don't benefit, why don't Aamir or Salman come on Non Holidays and prove themself then? The ticket prices shoot up during festive holidays plus they have extended weekends adding to the BO. Even Tiger and Prabhas do well with masala action films. It's safest genre. I respect Aamir bcoz he takes risks and deserves the success.

But, this monopoly of festive dates shud end.
