I get what you guys mean about the stepfather thing but please can we not use it for HS? It almost sounds like an insult to his love for and bond with Minnie. Not to mention Ashok cannot claim to be her father from any angle, and DNA is not important in their lives or in this show in general.

Yes he is very happy about getting married but I think a lot of his enthusiasm is for Minnie's sake, to fulfill her dreams for this wedding.

I didn't mean for it to sound like an insult. I know that more than Ashok, it's HS who's Minnie's father. I merely presented another perspective of how an outsider might perceive their relationship to be.

Yeah he might be from HS side but Lala has always given me elder brother feel for Babita.

Also stepfather doesn’t need to be a bad connotation. That’s also another stereotype that our culture has regarding stepparents/children’s that needs to break as well. HS can love Mini just like his own daughter even being a stepfather you know 😃.
