I broke. I finally watched the episode. And I may have missed someone saying this in the thread at some point because it moved pretty fast for a bit:

Have we discussed the possibility that the hospital scene in the promo may be Saadia losing her baby, not Hamid dying? Because at the end it looks like she's going into some kind of medical issue of her own.

Or maybe she goes into early labour and has her baby in all this stress. (Since we don't know about the times, I'm deciding she's pregnant enough that the baby won't die if she's born).

Makers want to keep us confused who will be end couple,today votes went to Ahmer, but I feel they will make her independent then she may take in Umair ,lets see.since aaliya can see her granddaughter happy in the house ,umair Sadia may be makers choice in the end.

I take back my theory. There was no Saadia in the promo which is why I thought that. And the mother says "kya hua unhein" which could be Hamid but also be plural: Saadia and her daughter.

But then the doctor says sorry, bad news.

Which then doesn't make sense for the scene with Zubi/Aaliya/Umair. Zubi's changed clothes. And I think if Saadia or the baby were in any danger, nothing would have stopped Aaliya from being at the hospital.

Also if she loses the baby, DNA from a dead baby is just bad taste. Although it would serve Umair right if his own kid's blood was on his hands.

(I'm sorry I'm very anti-Umair today).
