Imo, it doesn’t matter which production house or which costar (though preferably one with a sane fandom), like Ananya I think commented earlier, Shrenu needs a hit show asap. EBP was a hit, but it was years ago, sadly her recent producers have done nothing to improve her bankable status.
Just commenting for the sake of accuracy . I don’t recall Zain ever saying he is in the biz primarily to make money. He said he went into acting because he enjoyed being in front of the camera which he experienced when modeling and also didn’t like people telling him what to do as was the case in his former corporate job. He says he tries to chose scripts and characters which when initially pitched to him are interesting and in his view are content driven and which will challenge him and does not mind taking risks. He said he prefers grey or negative characters, action or dramatic roles biopics finite shows and hopes to get into movies one day. In a Raj Bhaddan interview he said he was excited about his role as Kabir and this show was different - a dramatic thriller. As an aside he also said he just bought a new house so he has responsibilities . In another interview he said he likes to keep active when at his peak popularity so as to secure his future. I don’t see how these two comments can be interpreted as he is acting PRIMARILY for money . If he was I guess he would have taken up the web series he said were offered to him after KKK9 and before EBSS but he said he didn’t because he did not want to do very intimate scenes onscreen.Originally posted by: DivzOnAir

No matter what, the show must go on is the motto right? Especially in this acting circus. As long as the actors are happy or satisfied, that’s all that matters to me as their fan.
And I remember reading Zain’s interview in the beginning of EBSS where he stated as much - that he is in the business primarily to make money, which is smart because he knows unemployment is huge among tv actors. Make moolah when you can is a good strategy in any job, no matter how much you love it.
Well, whether they are primarily for the money or not, the fact is that Shrenu at least doesn't seem emotionally/mentally invested in the show.
She was quite unhappy few days back, and considering she has stopped promoting the show like before, its clear that she is doing it for the money right now. When the show started, of course, its a different thing, she loved Jahnvi.
And lets face it. Right now she's playing a servant on screen, who is abused by her in-laws and even slapped around. Which actress will enjoy it?
Its like reaching a peak and then coming down.
They are punishing Jahnvi for being a conniving bahu, but who's going to punish the Mittals for being criminals?

That could explain why some fans felt some of the scenes these past few episodes were like watching Shrenu “act”.

I unfollowed Shrenu two days back, but still the precap of episodes shows up on my insta search feed.

Sometimes their interviews are more interesting than their subsequent shows so while I may not follow all their subsequent shows closely or at all somehow I easily recall what they say in interviews lol
Well every individual is different and what they display on social media may or may not be an accurate reflection of how they actually feel. Also fans/ followers sometimes tend to interpret every post / reply to mean more than it is. I would think that those who are passionate about acting and spend at least 12 hrs daily day after day for months on end on a showwould be emotionally invested to some degree whether it be happy or unhappy with the storyline it is still and emotional investmentOriginally posted by: SRKisLove

I wish I knew. I don’t follow any of them, and have been constantly clearing my history. I haven’t seen much content popping up these last two days, so hopefully it is working, fingers crossed.

I'll you why I feel Shrenu doesn't like the content.
In IB, even when she used to get only 1 Rikara scene a month, she used to post insta stories of the scene for fans and Kunal used to repost those.
But here she doesn't promote Jabir on her insta at all. Zain posts scene clips, but she never even reposts them.
She used to promote Jahnvi a lot, post her scene clips, edits by fans, etc, but she doesn't do the same anymore for pooja or Jabir.
So, I guess she doesn't like the story anymore.
