Instagram has changed the trend I feel. Now people are following directly from celebs, designers pages faster than from the movie looks these days. For example the chipku bun, gajra and saree style of DP is a hit amongst ladies for functions. Alia, Sara's paparazzi looks are used for daily looks.

Ram-Leela's earrings were a rage and also deewani mastani look is a huge hit too especially during eid. So is Piku's look. But off-late there are no memorable looks coz the styling mostly has been very simplistic and real which is what masses wear in day to day life so no excitement in replicating them.

Idk about BW, but I remember Amna sharifs suits from TVs Kahin toh hoga were famous. Also, Ekta’s vamps were quite famous for their outrageous Bindis and blouses.
