True and even the CVs are supporting this trash attitude towards woman. And I can’t believe that the writer for this show is actually a woman. They have broken the record of Ekta kappoor as well in showing both wives living under the same roof. And then I heard that it’s not bigamy 🤣. What is the need to show woman so bechari? And Kartik always as raja beta, ghar ka chirag and what not. Why no one raised the voice when dadi wants to have only a boy child ? What kind of impact it will have on the audience specially ina country of high female feticide? this show started becoming crap after the akshara Naitik track ended. Sometimes I think that CVs were more progressive then. Anyways, I think I should stick with Paki drama or Netflix and chill rather than watching this.

I am most disappointed by kartik and naira both. They have shown no feelings no emotions.....kartiks anger was justified but now it doesnt even make sense anymore. Its like he doesnt love her..because after a period of time you tend to forgive people you love. He could have hugged her told her he is sorry told her how he was a mess when she was not around.

And then naira too ...she should have apologized for running... they should have made up till now...that is what normal people do. That is how love is supposed to be. How can you be even insensitive towards each other when you meet after 5 years. Both are wrong but its disgusting to see that how kartik is behaving and how naira is all bechari but then i think about how she did show emotions but they were all crushed when she heard kartik talking to swrna.... abt how he wants this for himself...what more do we expect from her...but kartik he has no misunderstanding right ? No such talks nothing thwn why.

And for vedika i absolutely hate that character. She is like dont be sorry ...so so so so ignorant. The closing of eyes tightly when kaira hugged was so painful to watch because vedika is like living in delusion....kartik made his feelings clear...who in the right mind marries a guy like that. She could have been single....working and all that. It makes me want to puke.

Kaira are now past their prime. The characters don't make sense. For example we have Karthik who was miserable for 5 years thinking about Naira all the time and how much he missed her and now that she is in front of her he is an angry young man taking revenge on her. Naira on the other hand for 5 years was chanting about her self respect and how she was going to be strong and raise Kairav by herself. Once she meets with Karthik she forgets her self respect and is crying all the time which is really pathetic.

Vedika is the 2nd wife and the reality is Naira was not in the Goenka's lives for the last 5 1/2 years which is a really long time. She married a guy who was assumed a widow and now she is faced with seeing the long lost first wife again and that too with V's husband as the father. Any woman in Vedika's shoes (as a 2nd wife) would feel insecure. No second wife wants to hang out with the first wife all the time. Seeing how he is talking to Naira she is probably seeing his worst behavior for the first time.

Karthik and Naira are behaving like how a couple behaves when they are going through a bitter divorce. It is really foolish of them to think they can hide this from Kairav for long. They are giving him false hope which is wrong.

Even if Karthik and Naira get back together it would be illogical and I would not be able to erase their behavior during their worst of times. The two families have too much bad history between them and in real life such a couple would have been divorced longtime ago and Karthik would have moved on and remarried awhile ago. People lose their spouse and I have seen them dating and remarried after two years. (especially men)

5 1/2 years is a longtime for a couple to be apart. Even if they get back together the odds are against them as far as they having the same chemistry they once had together. The negative times will overshadow the good ones.

@brown - i agree..but there is so much more to his anger...pent up frustation but now when we look back its like kartik always gets away easily whereas naira is the one loosing family..luxury...love and gets insults. Also kartik could have been supporting and when she is back you dont hold to anger you get angry yes you get upset justified....but then when you loose all these emotions...he needs to see he is the only reason she ran away scared.

@red - i really dont like saying it but vedika is dumb. What was she expecting ...ek bar ke liye maan lete h naira is not here thwn what does she expect ? That he will share a bed ? Or he will talk abt his feelings. Naira is present that is why we all think that its all because naira is back but in reality this is the truth. If she wanted she could have understood ...that how a man who loved his wife who still cries...alone...can not suddenly in the name of marriage share a room or a bed or his feelings. This is toh common sense. .howevet because naira is back i had a little sympathy but it all vanished when naira who was there every single time...who sacrificed so much for goenkas kept her ego aside...was treated like who ldki and the girl who behaves like hanji...hanji..is treated with love and respect. So i dont know what to even feel.

At this point the situation is such a mess that I wonder if I even care anymore if they get back together because their journey has been so horrible.

I don't know how the show can recover from this. The writers may think this is possible but will the viewers forgive and forget and accept it.
