I seriously don't understand what is so lovable about Rohit. I'm not liking him at all.

He is condescending towards her profession EVERYTIME.

He accused her of stealing his watch.

He publicly humiliated her in the fashion show track.

He never apologised to her for that.

He was the reason for her Mom's stress.

He is using her so selfishly to get his family off his back wrt marriage.

Even after she saved him in Pune, on waking up he showed attitude.

He always puts her down with his 'malabar hills' jibe about their status difference.

I'm sure there are many more small incidents which I'm forgetting, but still Netra roots for him & Sona has fallen for him so quickly which I find to be absurd to the power of infinity.

Any man behaving like him towards us in real life, will we fall for him? Sona is an absolute dimwit.

I think the day rohit saved sona from accident in set that day sona fall for him but didn't realise.. Sona love's dramatic things and that was romantically very dramatic.. After that sona always try to see good things in rohit more than his bad sides.. That one incident is like love at first side type thing for sona and after that she never could overcome her fondness towards rohit no matter how much mean he behaves with her..

In real life fights hardly ever turn into love.

Ye TV ka idiotic formula hai.

But ya, he totally needs to apologize to her for everything. Especially the way he manhandled her when she went to meet Pooja immediately after the incident on the ramp.

Not trying to justify Rohit but just my opinions.

1) He did humiliate her not for being actress but for doing the kind of scenes in her show that wasn't acceptable according to his reasoning (I maybe wrong because I just forget scenes. Huh!)

2) He accused her of stealing only when she wasn't ready to show him the serial number of it (I guess.)

3) Yes! I strongly believe that he should apologize her for all that fashion show manhandling he did. 😡

4) At present, he's just worried of what he'll say to his family and that's why he comes out selfish but I think after that emotional moment between Sona and him, he finds her a really close friend and I feel, one can always ask for favour from your close friends. But of course, he doesn't even know what he's asking her to do. I feel he's too eager to get out of this marriage thing that he has lost his sane mind somewhere.

5) Also, I feel, Sonakshi was in a vulnerable state (after when Karan tried to harm her in that factory) and when she got Rohit at that moment, she got emotionally dependent on him. I think it's more of that emotional dependence than Love from her side.

All these are my POVs and Don't intend to hurt anyone. 😳

Why Rohit is loved by few (if not all) is because he's not typical ITV hero. He has his flaws (like he is being selfish in current scenario etc) but they are not extreme and very much real life. He does respect (almost) everyone. He loves his family and is funny (maybe it's Karan that's why he comes out more funny).

I think Karan as Rohit is immensely likable and relatable. He is a perfect choice.. He owns the character completely

Rohit is a lot more relatable male lead than the ones that are shown in ITV romance genre where we see an AYM with dark past, loves one family member for whom he will do anything.

Also I felt he never disrespected her profession but rather the illogical things they showed and justified. Agreed he has stereotyped views on TV serials then but who doesn't..

I like the fact he is not shown to be aggressive/disrespect towards people let alone the FL. Also he has a loving family who spoil him which makes him a brat in some situations...

The fashion show where in one scene he did behave wrongly with her. But I felt Sona should have left the family alone after he told her thanks for what you did on the state but this is a family issue so leave it .. Anyways it was too loud of a track by everyone .

As for the yelling scene at the hospital, he first tells her to drop it and he don't want to talk about it but she keeps badgering/preaching him and tells him what is love and all after which he loses control then he immediately realise his mistake and apologizes.

He shows his weakness, hurt and share his pains with Sona and his family. He communicates with Sona which is a rare thing in ITV before the leads fall in love.

I feel Rohit as a character has lots of flaws but doesn't shy away from both acknowledging it or accepting it which I find it very refreshing. I hope they don't ruin the leads characters for the TRPs which would be a shame.

Like the other member said the actor, Karan makes it so easy to like Rohit. He is very good and genuine as Rohit. Kudos to him.. Over all a great show which deserves to be on top.

See we complain the producers don't show good content on TV but seems like they try with shows like these and it's about time we support them.

PS. Karan's other show I watched Bahu rajinikant... What a show, very different great sorry telling and great acting by everyone. Complete Laughing riot..

I have the same question to be honest. I was okay with his snarky attitude and sarcastic personality from a humorous perspective. But they took it too far in the fashion show mishap. Given his behavior since then I don’t know why anyone would fall for him other than the fact that he’s played by KVG who is awesome. The problem is even narcissists are charismatic and you wouldn't want to fall for them. So it is a bit hard to completely support the scenario.

I think Sona is vulnerable and has a habit of falling for jerks hence getting attached to Karan before realizing his true colors. Her Bollywood belief in love being a cure all is probably an issue here as well making her see everything with rose tinted glasses.

I can understand what you are saying, but from what I have seen of Rohit from day 1, he seems to be an extremely likable man, and not only Sona, any woman would fall for him if they get to know him. Do not forget that Sona has fallen for him only after realizing that he is a different person when he speaks his heart out and there is a lot of honesty and love with which Rohit deals with people for whom he genuinely cares including Sona.

Fashion show incident was a disaster, it was his sister for gods sake, and may be not directly but indirectly it was Sona who was the reason why Pooja went through this hideous humiliation. Sumeet's enmity with Sona ended up ruining Pooja's life, when she was not at fault. Obviously Rohit supported Sona after knowing the truth but the instant reaction he had could be justified and I would rather dislike him had he not taken this event this fiercely , a brother will never deal calmly or even practically when it comes to his sister's reputation, Rohit was impulsive and the situation was very much against Sona.

I believe he does not insult the actress Sona is, but maybe the way they provide everything on TV, which obviously is nonsensical and anybody would mock it. However initially when Rohit was a stranger for Sona, he mocked her show but slowly and gradually after learning about her POV and the hard work she does, he does not mock her anymore, his mockery for Parvati turned into a goofy kind of leg pulling where both are comfortable to taunt each other by making fun of their professions. It happens between friends, like we have seen how in FRIENDS, the friends made fun of monica's fake boob which she had to wear at her job place, making fun of Joey's acting skills and even Ross's boring lectures, these are given in friendships and if Rohit makes fun of Parvati now, only with the intention of pulling her leg not because he wants ti insult her or something.

I know what he is doing is not right and asking a favor from Sona to pretend as his GF, but why are we forgetting that Rohit has opened his heart out to Sona, shared how much he loves Raima and how he will wait for her, he loves to confide in Sona and he always believes that Sona can save him even when he is at his lowest, that confidence in a woman is rare, and Sona loves this trait of him and that is why she has fallen for him because he has given her too much space in his life. Also, he is the only one who pulled her out of her past zone and now she believes that she can fall in love again. Rohit does not know about Sona's feelings and i am sure when he learns about it he will feel guilty. Currently this is a mere natak for him which most of us can relate to. Even i have made my friends lie to my parents to save me, people do that to save themselves, of course things go ugly if there is someone as greedy as Suman and I hate the fact that Sona's mother does not care about her feelings at all. Still I really hope Rohit backs out from this plan and finds out a different way.

Last but not the least, what he did in the hospital was not showing attitude, but again his guilt and love for Raima, Sona claimed that he will never get Raima back and she has hit him where it hurt him the most. He apologized to her and also explained that how he cannot accept that Raima will never come back, that is his loyalty towards her and Sona accepted that gracefully, she understood his POV too.

PS: Karan is awesome as Rohit.. I hope the CVs do not change the characters for TRP sake.. what they did with Kasauti is horrible, what they did with EBSS is more horrible, I am scared about KHKT because i love this show and currently it is the only show which does not have any typical story line or villainous monster to plot against the leads.

Actually its Rohit's fault. Rohit played the prank on Sumit for which Sumit was blaming Sona. Rohit himself was the most responsible for what happened. He even had a flashback to that scene when Sumit was talking so he knew it was his fault.
