SRK obsession continues

I had panned Mission Mangal when I first watched the trailer. Never did plan to watch this joke of a film either way. But have been reading some real reviews on twitter now and it's worse than I had ever anticipated.

I had supported Akshay during many of his controversies,..... even gone to great lengths to explain his citizenship.

But I'll say this today. Let him enjoy his MM earnings. Pretty soon his position is going to be worse than SRK's is today.

No, he's not.

SRK's stardom has waned but even at his weakest, SRK still has a bigger blockbuster to his name. Akshay, meanwhile, has only delivered 2 blockbusters in his entire career.

Akshay's movies are barely event films. Zero was still considered an event film last year. Akshay has a better track record this decade, but he's not a bigger star. Not even today.
