Today I saw the epi where pre slaps A. I should have felt sympathetic or atleast something. But I started to laugh😆

That guy was a punching bag, lol.

Their relationship be it Bajaj and anurag or anurag and prerna were always situational and according to the present tracks of the show.

For that track of his marriage with sampada they were in good terms.

After this marriage again it went down (Bajaj and anurag)

After 20 plus years of tolerating each other they all had settled on the fact that they will never b able to get rid of their presence in each other's lives.

So their tolerance level had increased to mutual respect and cordial behaviour to a certain extent.

No telly heroine was famous to slap the male lead than prerna.

I think she still holds that record till date to give maximum slaps.

Not besties😆 but yes just before the 20 year leap, these two had become great friends.

Till 8 year leap, they were enemies.

And at other points, there was a certain hatred coupled with admiration for each other 😆

Anurag and bajaj sure had an amazing chemistry,lol

How soothing that was to his grieving soul which was full of guilt and self hatred.

He was broken as a father and husband both.

His entire behaviour with her, the slap, the insults, the public appeal by P, the divided family, everything was coming back to him and he was deposing his own self for misunderstanding his Prerna.

And as u said, she was exactly knowing what he was thinking and she knew she needed to get through that barrier with all the force she could muster.

And break that barrier she did! She just didn't let him go. His hurt always she could feel and knew it was in someway more than hers. And this fact made her feel worse bcoz she understood very well what she meant to him.

She knew that his guilt will eat him up...he was always the sort to brood over things and a masochist to boot!

He let Sneha be betrayed, he let down Mukti and of course how I can forget Maine apni Prerna ka saath nahi diya. In his opinion, he had never failed more in life.

But our Mother India was not ready to let him wallow this time...she handled him beautifully...let him off the hook, so to say, when he was not ready to forgive himself.

My only grouse in this scene was that she went to Anurag first...but j guess, I should let go of that now at least 😆
