exactly ..karthik has been shown hardly having any interaction with her prior to dadis illness..and it was only in Goa that they said they’ll be friends,..yet vedika let the whole family know she loves him,..so she fell in love with man who was grieving for his dead wife and only brought her to his house because he promised her dying father..and who hardly paid her any attention,..so how did this love happen..,..and she let everyone know even him that she loves him and dadi used this as a tool ,..that he owes vedika ,.shes been waiting so many years for him. I think it’s time Kartik stops acting like a puppet. No offence to him but I am done with him mopping around since May. He used to be so confident especially when it came to calling his family’s bullshit out.

Whatever he does from this point forward, be it wanting to stay in this illegal marriage, asking for divorce or filing for custody, I want him to do it for himself and by using his own mind. He should stop allowing the family to emotionally blackmail him when it comes to Vedika or getting involved in his relationship with Naira.

Also, Kairav and his health should be his priority right now not getting back at Naira or fulfilling Dadi’s wishes.

Seriously if Kairav had not been diagnosed with this health issue, Naira would have gone back to Goa living her own life. Would she even thought to tell him that Kairav is his son? She would have continued playing dead and telling her son that his father is on some mission.

I agree with everyone saying she bought it upon herself because she’s way too delusional. I hate her scenes but I guess it would have made more sense if they showed how Kartik got her to the house instead of just implying from the first episode of the leap that they were to get married.

As people have pointed out, there must be a reason why Goenkas are so fond of her. Initially before the leap when spoilers came about her entering, I assumed she would play the role of a psychologist who would have helped Kartik deal with his loss, or a friend, like Kartik’s aunt was for Naitik. Vedika and Kartik didn’t even share a friendship, so for everyone to just assume that Kartik would marry her and for her to love him seems absurd.

As for the Goenkas not treating Naira like a daughter despite her doing so much for them, then I think they always felt threatened due to the hold she had over Kartik. All of them are selfish and were only good towards Naira whenever she did something that benefitted them, for example, Manish’s changed attitude towards her when she started helping out with the business.

Naira is too strong for them to be controlled and Dadi is the kind of woman who can’t see her position being challenged. Even in the hospital scene, Naira gave it back to Dadi when she kept talking about Kartik’s sufferings.

I thought you watched episode than made post regarding character does not deserve hatred....her dialogue delivery was poor...there was no emotional connection...

@bold that's true...Goenkas want someone whom they can control...who would be a baby making machine only without any voice or opinion...like Suwarna and Gayu...

I dont know whether Vedika's character deserves hatred or not but her character is plainly annoying. Vedika's character should gracefully exit the show instead of making more drama by Goenka family asking Naira to exit Kartik's life.

The post was from a holistic view of the track and not specific to the episode. I was just curious about how most people feel towards her and whether or not we are being fair to hate her at this point.

As for the dialogue delivery and emotional connection, I don’t think she’s a good actress and she looks too old next to Mohsin. She’s only good for comforting Dadi.

Means on what basis does a person who has a good mind thinks that the man who loved his wife is now dead....and inner him is feeling all guilty... ( which vedika knows nothing about ) she has seen him crying and hawling and she has seen how he cried and how much he misses her..he was literally emotionally blackmailed... by his family..and now she expects him to share a bed ? Also i am just so so so so amazed by the way family memebers behave with vedika.

if Kartik only intended to provide her with a family and the family misunderstood his intentions, but at the end of the day, everyone kind of expected for Kartik to marry her eventually.

Iam surprised to see everyone sulking when everyone wished kaira to be separate since theirs is toxic relationship and it finally happened.
