Thanks for posting. It's 💯 true. Current shows should concentrate on the story,script rather than heavy costumes and makeup.

Those days shows used to have a soul in it so we could relate to the characters. In that way i felt kuch rang was a show which came like a breath of fresh air

yeaa kuch rang was fresh concept and even this too janhvi's revenge was justified but actions were questionable we lack such stories in name of trp!!!

TV shows in those days were subtle and progressive

Few good shows in our recent times are Sanjivani 1, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Patiyala Babes, Ladies Special, Jee Le Zara.

Na Aana Is Des Laado, Balika Vadhu ( I will say both were social issue wala tv show )
