Saw this movie. Liked it.

Lukkhey at mission mangal should learn from this , this one has some.masal elements , in middle it goes where it's going but the first 50 min and last 40 minutes are good and strict to the facts.

They didn't show batla house properly though it's more congested and filled with people , when adovacte ask they brought tortured in the flat , he should explain that place had has like 5000 ppl in a sq m , intriguing and interesting and also quite subtly calls out the politicians specially Sonia ji ko ansu aa gaye terrorist ko marte dekhkar wala natak.

Clearly better choice , and john is good in these roles.

It was nice... i watched it on the night of 15th in Mumbai... loved it... this is the kind of role that suits john abraham perfectly and he nailed it... hope this movie ends up with decent box office numbers

John abraham is my fav actor

I'm going to watch this today.

Batla House Holds Well On Monday

Batla House has had a good hold with collections falling around 40% from the Friday with collections of 4.50 crore nett. This takes the film to 48 crore nett and the extended first week could go to 59-60 crore nett and then it depends where the second Friday lands.

The film has done well to be in this position considering how it opened on Thursday morning. The film actually looked a goner with its first shows collections doing 25-30% of Mission Mangal but it picked up on independence Day and has managed to find an audience. The film is doing its best business in Delhi / UP while Mumbai circuit has managed to hold fairly well, the fall come in Gujarat but Mumbai and Pune have held pretty well.

The film has shown a lesser fall than Mission Mangal on Monday as the numbers are much lower than that film but if it can continue with this trend then the film can get closer to that film as far as the daily business is concerned. The first five day figures of Batla House are as follows.

Thursday - 14,50,00,000 apprx

Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 9,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 12,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 4,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 48,00,00,000 apprx

The target for the film is to probably cross or finish in the range of Satyameva Jayate which did around 80 crore nett and if there is a solid second Friday hold there is a chance of that happening.

I just wish he succeeds more. His best phase was with bipasha and after break up his career also went down south. but now last year he did parmanu ...what a terrific movie.

Batla house will make you hate those mean politicians who for their mean political gains play with life of national security.

Mrunal thakur is such a bad actor....awful acting as journalist. I wished if nikhil advani would have taken some more retakes of her scenes separately .Its that bad...Trust me guys when you watch it u will feel. No connect, no screen presence with john. A journalist in todays times has a very shrewd tough peronality because of the pressure this media profession demands but here she was more a damsel in distress. Mouni and Diana penty are better paired with john

watch it for sexy john, a wonderful direction by nikhil advani and good presentation by Bhushan Kumar, Madhu Bhojwani

I think, I found movie just ok at certain time,... and a little above average only. ( Perhaps I saw on computer with average copy ) . Movie is on teatv.net ( install it on PC, a very small, safe software and searchbox in it, for movie, considerable VHS quality,.. )

Movie is a very poor version of Akki’s Baby or Special 26,.. though akki’s were more dramatic and this more realistic……. ! Still dunno whether John be a better choice or Akki or Devgun for this, as John’s facial expressions fails every time of having a single unique expression in each complexion mode and mood. But John was producer , so no other choice,...

Movie could be lot better with dilates and even more dense complex situations. Since it’s a john production so he have to have in it, and Mrunal Thakur a worst choice,… either Diana penty / Tabu /Kajol Agrwal would have been better. Ravi Kishan also pretty average. Needed Nawazuddin, Kay kay Menon or Irfan khan,..or,.. Paresh rawal,.. and sure Anupam Kher must have been fitted somewhere,..

Direction of Movie is pretty average and could had been made lot better with this kind of story,… I found both the 26/11 related, real life incident, realistic movies ( Hindi and English ) of Nana and Anupam kher, a lot lot better than this,… Court scenes and other complex situations could had been churned a lot deeper and denser,.. Danny and Anupam kher could also have been placed somewhere in higher police dept. staff,…. Nora Fatehi would not have minded for deeper groups sex scenes with underground terrorist gang and group sex etc, would had been a better choice for this kinda story,...

Was expecting a way more, but somehow did not find that much,... Mrunal was totally hopeless,..... as compared to Rani in No one killed jessica or Dimple as kalam waali baayi in Nana's movies,.... but they are old now,... still would go with Diana penty for sure,.. This was Ajay's movie,... John is so-so here,.... Akki would have also done better ( Baby / special 26 guy,... ),.. even , SRK was if given role, telling him, that this is not atypical SRK movie , but this is another "Swades" for you,.. he would have done better too,...

Movies' end court scenes, OR Terrorists catch and grabbing were not so effective, nor did I found to my expectations and desires... Somehow I had more expectations, having recently seen those 26/11 related two movies,...

Movie is 2.85 / 5.0, IMO.

Mission Mangal has had another solid day with collections in the 7.50-7.75 crore nett range. This takes the business of the film to almost 113 crore nett in six days. The drop was very limited at multiplexes as they consolidated after the drop on Monday. The film should cross the 125 crore nett mark in its extended first week which would have been a good result if it was the lifetime business this film. Mumbai and Mysore held up very strongly on Tuesday and even Gujarat did not show much of a drop.

Batla house is holding up well on weekdays with a limited drop on Tuesday. The collections hardly dropped as the film collected around 4.25 crore nett and this takes the total of the film to 52 crore nett plus. It can finish the week very close to the 60 crore nett mark. If the film continues to sustain like this into the second week it could even turn out to be a HIT though there is a long way to go yet.😈
