Gatbandhan is tying knot of Chunni of bride with groom's for pheras around fire while kanyadaan is ritual in which father of bride hands over hand of bride to the groom and some mantras are chanted for her well being and basically giving her daughter to her husband

Gathbandhan means the procedure where the bride and groom are tied together for pheraas. Groom's dupatta is tied with Bride's pallu.
It symbolizes togetherness for lifetime.
And kanyadaan is where the bride's father gives away his kanya to the groom. It's a small ritual with a Pooja.

LOLL, babes is usually used between lovers but yaha toh Babes is used in a motherly context. An HS Babes ko apni maa thodi na bulaye ga. 😆
