I like how you have used the choice of cohabitation as a word. They are thrown in a space together. One for selfish choice and another for selflessness. It’s a choice nonetheless. Regarding Veena, I somehow think that besides his mother angle, he’s an innately nice and responsible man who wouldn’t just disrespect elders without any reason. He doesn’t have any beef with her mum, so why be rude to her?

Yes, he could be a nice man but he is generally curt yet placid. With Veena, he doesn’t necessarily have any courtesy to share but does it heartedly because of the barter that I have explained. He never disrespects anyone. He is cold yet extremely suave and classy.

Ah! The fangirl in me who’s a sucker for possessive guys would want Mr Bajaj to have MASSIVE issues with her emotional infidelity.

But, this bubble of wishful thinking is super precarious because it’s an Ekta show and we all know what we’ve signed up for. So the leads have the potential to deliver complete justice, ratings and her creatives would create lots of unnecessary obstacles.

The leads, stories always are created with heart and soul. There’s a lot of effort but alas drama sells and it’s the fear of trying something new.
