Honestly, in drama world its not even a weird thing. All the men crying over their lost loves manage to get their wives pregnant. Off the top of my head: Areesh in Anaa, Shehzad's character in Choti si Zindagi, even Bilal in O Rangreza to an extent. Sab ishq ko rotay rotay papa ban gaye.

I think the trivialising of marital rape is an issue. It makes me feel really weird that they want us to forget about it. It makes the baby such a plot device.

A woman apni marzi se has physical relationship with the man she loves.
