Fary idk about overtly sensitive but she definitely is annoying😂 honestly even if someone is really sensitive Aise kaise bha bha rona?! That was imo way too over dramatic and OTT. Looked absolutely fake. Being really sensitive can be done in a believable subtle manner. Yahaan toh real se milo dur tha woh rona and the whole scene.

lol at the bhaan bhaan crying 😂😂. Reminds me that a few times in IB also, SC went into that mode whenever she couldn’t connect with the character 😕...and seems like same thing is happening here. She isn’t convincing when she isn’t convinced herself about what she is portraying. She’s an honest actor who doesn’t seem to get what she needs to be effective. What a pity.

In trying to keep her character “mysterious”, they are making her behaviors look nonsensical and OTT🙄

SP posted a new promo for a mytho show.

Lol I think this might be Praying Mantis Show ka replacement. Their end seems near 😆

Yep, but I prefer the mytho genre over the supernatural one. Some rare shows do a good job of nuanced depiction of the folklore like RK.

Even the new Luv Kush Show is worth watching cuz they chose the senior RK pair as Ram Sita so good casting....specially Shivya as Sita is lovely.

Sita is all badass shooting down wolves with a bow and arrow in the jungle 😂

Haha yeah I know mythos aren’t your cup of tea 😆

I can understand and enjoy the shudh Hindi and I like how philosophy lessons are imparted through the folklore. If the actors act well and execution is good, these shows are anyday better than Gul and Ekta trash.

100% sach atleast these stories are based on what people beleive in and can relate too unlike the random chipkali makki daayan wali lok kathas that are absolutly pointless

Skimmed through today's epi.....as usual, the senior cast comes across as seasoned performers while younger lot is looking amateurish.

I'm just honestly in sadma over HOW awful SC is ....this CANNOT be SC, man....this can't be the girl who more than proved herself playing so many shades of Anika in IB....she looks like a rank amateur in front of the senior actors I thought she'd be great with.....she's scrambling in scenes with MB as well as Gurdip.....what a waste.....another OTT crying scene she had with Shashank UNCLE today *rolls eyes*....honestly MB looked like he wanted to run away while she rambled on in her sobby breakdown and the way she said "I want to hug you" was SUPER CRINGE.

Gurdip is still so elegant as Juhi and I liked the Shashank-Anjali scene as well....Sayantani is good.....but SC is literally a SUPER letdown....what has she done to herself *sigh*

How is a guy like Namit who's done much less acting work than SC beating her in acting thehraav right now.....this is ridiculous, man.

Baaki her character continues to be bipolar.....mopey depressed one moment, then suddenly hyper bickering with Sid.....SC's dialogue delivery has gone to trash....something is just WRONG with the way she is enunciating and the combination of Hindi-English words in her dialogues are not gelling.

I need to rewatch some Anika scenes to cleanse my mind of this version of SC.

Yep, and it's not just beliefs, it's life philosophy stuff demonstrated through the stories of Gods....you don't even need to believe in it to atleast appreciate the LIFE philosophy they are imparting which is UNIVERSAL....it's the same themes of humanity, compassion, kindness, sacrifice etc.....exploring all the shades of humanity from the good to the bad and trying to impart some learning from it......especially the themes from the epics are really amazing from a pure storytelling perspective also....you don't even need to know the Gods to be able to admire it from a pure storytelling POV as well :)

Unlike the supernatural crap which is deliberately mindless and trashy.

Mytho shows atleast aren't trashy....in fact they are one of the few genres left where the characters still retain some level of purity and maasoomiyat, not just doing hormonal trashy staff like supernatural shows.

Like for example, with the new Ram Siya show, they are trying to again touch on the themes of misogyny and sexism....how a woman is treated differently and disrespected by society and always needs to prove her 'purity'.....and Sita decides to sacrifice for the greater good but she does it with a sense of immense dignity and grace that's worth watching for the depiction in the show.....her equation with Ram also is shown very nicely......the theme score is really nice in this one too.

Ab preaching ki baat kar lo....it all depends on execution....if you are able to write and enact it well, then it's effective.....Sita and Ram imparting teachings in this show are effective cuz of the portrayal....otherwise it can look put on also with bad execution.....it's not enough simply that they are divine so their preaching becomes great...it's how you say it.

Not that the show is perfect....it can go a bit OTT sometimes but overall it atleast leaves you with a watchable, generally feel good feeling unlike other trash.

I'm only watching RK and this kinda regularly aajkal.....lol
