South actors don't want to work in BW..Many of them have given statements like this..They have worked hard and made a place for themselves in their respective industries..Audience loves them. Leaving all opportunities there and giving months or years to do bw movies doesn't seem a feasible option to them. They would rather do bilinguals or multilinguals like Bahubali or Sahoo

Mithun is probably Brahmin or kshatriya, so not really a low caste person.

Bollywood na north hai na south, Beech wala hai. North ka punjabi industry ho gaya hai literally. South ka south industry. Jisko dono nhi digest hota woh bollywood dekh ke khush ho jata hai. lool

I have seen Religion being discussed in Bollywood, but for the very first time " caste" is being discussed. It's kind of disappointing to see how 'caste' is relevant. How is caste even related/connected to Bollywood? Does it change an actor/actress's acting capabilities?

Kinda ,yes. Bengali girls use to do well in bw at Times. But the language itself is spoken mainly by north Indians so it kind of is

Caste shouldn't be connected to Bollywood but if only one one caste is in the industry then it is relevant.
