BARC TRP is the accepted standard in TV industry. So if a show doesn’t get good TRP in BARC, then definitely it will be axed.

No doubt KZK is underperforming. But Ekta will not end the show anytime soon simply because it is not doing terribly bad like getting 1.5 ratings. She will definitely try her best to improve ratings and keep the show running for another 8-10 months even if it means changing storylines dramatically, sidelining ex-leads etc.

Good joke. YHM airs at late night slot of 10:30 pm. And it is the No. 1 show at 10:30 pm. Guess what is the TRP of the second most watched show at 10:30? It is 0.7 while YHM brings 1.8 at the same slot. YHM gets a promo once in 6 months. And the show hardly has any repeat.

BTW, KP has taken a break from the show. Anyway both Divyanka and Karan only give solo shots these days. So they shoot ine week’s episode in a few hours. Not much money spent at all there even though they are the highest paid actors.

in comparison with other night show like yeh rista keya kehelata hai , yeh rista peyar ki .. .iske trp kafi acche than YHM... agar ratings pei jana hai toh iyea show 5 sal se kyu run ho rahe hai .. ofcourse makers are earning from this show.. from hotsstar or Uk ofcourse ...

I really don’t understand how people keep changing their notions based on convenience.

When their fav show does well in BARC TRPs, they hail the system and celebrate the TRPs.

When the same show doesn’t do well in BARC, they start questioning the TRP system and say that some random polls and lists like FAKE ONLINE TRPs and useless ORMAX lists are more important. Like seriously?! 😆🤣

The same nonsense was done by the YRHPK fandom. A month ago their show was stagnant at 1.8. And their fans started rubbishing BARC system and said that TV audience only watch crap content.

Now when their show is doing well, suddenly the same fans are celebrating BARC and the same TV audience (who just a month back we’re only watching crap according to them 😆)

Again you are comparing shows which air at prime time like 9:30 and 10 with shows at late night slot. TV viewership peaks at prime time which is around 9. It drops drastically beyond 10. That is why getting 1.8 at 10:30 is as good as getting 3 at 9 pm simply because not many people watch TV late at night.

Yeh rista and Yeh rista hai peyar key , iyea shows kab air hote hai ? mere iyahape 10 and sare 10 .. and YHM 11 baje... is the time slot is changed in outside for star plus?

My country and india's timing difference is half an hour... other's channel timing is matched with here ? but starplus kyu different ?

and TRP time slot ke hisab se nei dete , it is overall comparison ...max people dont count the time slot . they directly judge a show according the given ratings.. anyway .. this type of discussion were held in past thread .. i just referred that conclusion here again .. nothing against yhm or others show..

it is in top 10 in spite of it being on at 8pm on weekdays, which is not exactly even prime time, if you guys think it is underperforming then good for you, I completely disagree, this show used to consistently be below no.15, jab tab axe nahin hua toh ab kya hoeyga, and also I don't think one should pretend to know what the makers are thinking, they have far more intel then these BARC TRPS, which again are good anyway.

YRKKH airs at 9:30 pm, YRHPK at 10, YHM at 10:30 and Nazar at 11.

And yes TRP is given for all slots. The point is that the channel and PH won’t expect the same kind of TRPs for a show that airs at late night as a show that airs at prime time.

So StarPlus and Ekta would be more than happy with 1.8 at 10:30 because the slot can not get more than that. The same StarPlus and Ekta will not be extremely happy with 2.0ish ratings at 8 pm because the slot can do better.

Did I not say that KZK’s TRP aren’t terribly bad for Ekta to axe the show?! I think you should first read all my comments properly and then reply.

KZK is definitely underperforming since the beginning. Despite all the promotions by Ekta and channel, the show has never been the No.1 show alone ever until now. (It only shared the No.1 position once that’s too with 2-3 other shows).

Like come on. Ekta erected statues and some VR studios, brought SRK for promo. Considering all that, it is clear that Ekta would’ve expected the show to at least be in Top 5 consistently (not in the watered down Top 5 given by Salil).

Like the show even got any abroad trip and it hardly made a difference in the ratings. Accept the fact that the show is not doing as well as what Ekta would want it to.

Guddan which also airs at 8 pm is doing equally well despite having no big stars, no foreign trips, no over promotion and no over hype and PR activities.

If you still refuse to accept that the show is underperforming, then please continue to live in your delusional world.

All I am saying is it is not on par with the kind of promotion and repeats the show gets.
