I hate to do this but I am stuck. I am reading only a few lines of the update due to time constraints. there was a time when I used to read the entire fiction in a go, and right now I am not able to read a single chapter.

So, I have read Shilpa's POV in the first chapter, and she comes across as a very chirpy person, which I take will be in total contrast with Armaan's character. Also, she is frustrated because she is looking for a job but things are not working out the way she wants.

Now, I assume she is headed towards Armaan's office where he is conducting interviews for the post of his assistant. It makes my previous assumption of an office romance stronger.

You mentioned that Modi's have adopted Shilpa, but you also mentioned her name to be Malhotra. I don't understand how that works out and also she is using a cab. I would like an insight into her financial background to understand that too. Or maybe I will understand it when I read further.

I haven't read as much as I have typed here 🤪

So here I am again, trying to read as much of the update as I can.

First things first, I forgot to mention that I am really happy that Sid is there and Shilpa and he are such good friends. When you don’t have family, it’s important to have confidantes like Shilpa has found in Sid.

Now, Riddhima, the way she is acting right now, doesn’t make me feel that she loves Armaan. I hope later she realises that it was just a thought that she loves Armaan because she is so used to him being around.

So, now Shilpa meets Armaan and he is already finding her voice melodious. That’s a good start. Right?

OMG! It’s love at first sight!

They couldn’t concentrate on work and then Armaan did the most unexpected thing, he hired her without an interview. Wow. I am looking for a job, kaash mera bhi employer bina interview liye mujhe hire karle 😆

Armaan didn’t take her interview and she is all gloomy. I would have laughed like crazy. But it was sweet how Sid made hot chocolate so that she feels better. #friendshipgoals

I also want to know how Ridhima got to know that Armaan didn’t take the interview and hired someone.

And I finally completed the chapter! I was slow, but I am proud that I have posted long comments. I hadn’t done that in a long time on IF.

I have started reading chapter 2..

and the first line of the update when Shilpa is switching the light off and on reminds me of this scene in DMG and I could actually visualize it.

And the first impression of her thoughts is, she is mad.. milgayi na job, khush ho jao aur kaam karo, itna kyun soch rahe ho?

Of course she won't get an answer, Armaan would also not know why he did that 🤪

Armaan doesn't even remember her name??? It's such a disappointment. Here I thought that its love at first sight and he doesn't even remember his name and is already planning on getting her out of the company. Just Great... 😵

Okay..not out.. Will he take her under his wing and train her now?

What did he watch on TV?🤢

He just forgets everything when it comes to her Ridhima invited her in, and Armaan felt bad about it too... that feeling... And now he will remember her name.. good

Riddhima is sweet, that’s nice.

What did Armaan do?? Why did he do that? Shilpa must be feeling so insulted. I just hope she doesn’t come back easily. Armaan should feel sorry for what he did to her.

And here ends chapter 2.. I was quick with this one :)

Chapter 3

Really.... Armaan... he disgusts me... just for his bloated ego he not only did wrong with a person but is doing wrong with his own company.

I admire Riddhima for taking a stand for the good of a stranger and the company.

What the hell? Why did Shilpa come back?? Nooooo...

Okay... Shilpa hai toh strong, but right now I don’t like her decision of coming back (this perception may change when I will read further).

Ridhima got the papers made already. Vaise it can happen so fast, standard contracts hote hain ye.. and the in-house counsel has the templates already. But the fact that Riddhima took the initiative to get things in place is praise worthy. Because it will irk Armaan more 😆

And Riddhima only got her back... wow...
