I agree with you but I believe Kundali Bhagya is much more closer to the original KZK even when compared to KZK 2. Did you see Sherlyn's entry? It was an homage to OG Komolika's entry from OG KZK.

My theory goes something like this, as we all know Karan and Rishabh both distrust Prithvi, and obviously Karan and Preeta distrust Sherlyn, the closest people to the whole truth at this point are Karan and Shrishti. However, the two people most effected by Prithvi and Sherlyn aren't Karan and Shrishti but Rishabh and Preeta. So bare with me here..... what if somehow or the other may be through Mahesh or someone else (Monisha/Billa/Neel corporator)or some other proof Rishabh is convinced about the truth behind Sherlyn and Prithvi and therefore hatches a plan with Karan to save Preeta from Prithvi! Although, I know for a fact that many a Preeran fans would disagree with me but despite the fact that it has been made abundantly clear that Preeta is in love with Karan, but I still believe even at this point in time Preeta 'trusts' Rishabh more than Karan in a factual circumstances.

So in order for pardafash of both Sherlyn and Prithvi as well as obviously save Preeta from Prithvi, (Maybe even Shrishti) Karan, Rishabh and Preeta hatch a plan so that Karan kidnaps Preeta, they show as thou both of them have married each other (but they actually don't). Instead, it is shown that whatever Karan did was revenge ( which actually wasn't). Then Rishabh brings her into the Luthra House as Karan's wife (which she technically wouldn't be) as Luthra bahu. With Preeta inside the house as her devrani Sherlyn becomes nervous and becomes more desperate in her effort to destroy the Luthra family...... so on and so forth. By this time Akshay and Kritika's wedding preparation finally begin and Prithvi somehow becomes Luthra damad!

However, the fact that the marriage between Preeta and Karan is fake is not revealed to the audience in the beginning and it only becomes known later on..... essentially a few days before Prithvi and Sherlyn realise it.

I dont think KDB writers will think that far, yeah they can come up with weird things but this is possibility is quite low....and Rishabh is the most disappointing character in this whole serial....thats why he has not shown any heartbreaking moments...even he is quite ok with Preeta's marriage unlike Karan.

That is exactly what is making me really think about this whole fake marriage thing....... itni asaani se toh Karan aur Preeta ki shaadi nahi dikha sakte, aur Prithvi ke saath shadi toh hone nahi wali, there has to be something!! I mean Prithvi and Sherlyn have been winning from the beginning, I understand that the makers don't want to let Ruhi and Sanjay go but this way they can keep their beloved Prithvi and Sherlyn in the show as well as show some sort of a fight back.

@ The M5393 u summed it up perfectly.That's what I am saying that in the promos it was never shown that Preeran will either be apart or separated during the start of the spinoff like KZK 2.I can understand that every serial needs to have its share of antagonist due to which every couple goes through the trial & tribulation of pain & separation but then this should have been done at the first promo itself. Abhi majorly spent his time with Tanu inspite of Pragya being his wife/lover & the same story is gonna get repeated with Preeran.Then how can they be called a couple?

Yeah I am a PREERAN fan too but I hate the idea of namesake couples.

I see the only reason why this could not be possible. Rishabh is very possessive when it comes to Preeta and Karan. He can't think of them being a pair even hipothetically. Just remember his behaviour during Karan-Monisha's shaadi. He literally panicked when Shrishti suggested Preeta instead of Monisha. And if it would be a fake marriage then Karan and Preeta should share a room. And what about Preeta's izzat when everyone would know it was a fake shaadi and she shared a room with a man not being married.

I think their is high possibility of fake shaadi or no shaadi.....and I am totally agree with Rishabh point...he is fine if Preeta marries Prithvi but not Karan😔🤔

Rishabh is a married man now. And Sherleen will claim that the baby is his. He will be the one to be saved from Sherleen. His role will be the same. I don't see changes for him. The writers could not utilise his role properly. It could be more interesting than it is now.

I agree that they have completely wasted rishabh’s character as well as the love triangle they have built up since the very beginning, but it is also for the same reason I feel rishabh’s character will come into play in the future once sherlin is exposed and the focus will eventually be brought back to the love triangle as it has been a big story arc built up since the initial promos. Love triangles tend to be big tracks so why would Balaji waste it when they have spent over a year and a half showing rishabh’s feelings for preeta only to show him marry the vamp and his feelings being left unknown to almost everyone? So I don’t think they have scrapped the love triangle.

I agree that they keep this triangle track for the future. There were hints too. Like Karan said once that he would even make a girl to divorce for Rishabh. But we have to wait for a loooong time to see it.

So I guess they intended to show us a love triangle track at the beginning but couldn't resist to take a maximum from this track. They have a point))

Yes I guess I get it from a business perspective. So I guess the love triangle will come into play once the villains are exposed and the writers need a new story, which will probs be next year now.

I think she's not going to marry anybody. It's gonna get called off for some reason. And they might show her disappearing or something. 😆 I wanted Karan to get married to her but it seems unlikely.
