I think this guy did a pretty a good job at remaking this song. The essence is still there. Otherwise remakes usually ruin the original.

IMO, this is the best cover of Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna 👍🏼. Her voice is just fantastic 😎and the guitar play and piano play is just awesome. Orchestration amazing

IDK.. The only mistake I find in all of this is the lack of a credit to the original artist. But, somehow I am unable to bring myself to dislike or disapprove of the directors, Pritam or Anu or RD Burman or the songs.. what's your take on all of this?

I think ppl are being unfair to Indian Music Directors 🤔. There is a difference between copying a whole tune and getting inspired by a tune 😎 . For instance quite a few days back, I heard a very old song of R D Burman from his debut movie Bhoot Bangla. The song was 'Aao Twist Kare'. Then I read an intelligent comment that it was 'copied' from Let's Twist again . Well , RDB's song seems to be inspired not copied, yet some 'knowledgeable', utubers, for a few views keep branding it as copied🤢. The same goes for some other songs lik Ome shanti Om, Tamma Tamma etc.

That does not mean there are no copied songs but there is a difference between copying a tune and getting inspired by a tune😎.

I don't think any music director worth his salt will want to lift a tune unless forced by director-producer like Guru Dutt did to O P Nayyar (Clementine-Zara Hatke Zara Bachke), even then O P Nayyar managed to make it sound a bit different 😆
