Decoding Meenu

Hey ya guys, this post is totally on our benba/meenu.. Recently I watched in a show where a character talks about how it is hard for a single mom to brought up her kids.. Although in show the suspense is not yet out on how and why Abeer's father have left so keeping that part aside.

Meenu is a single mom who stays in her maayka..everyone is scared of her as she is potrayed to be a strong women, egoistic, but isn't it needed. A women whose husband has left her with kid to look after has to be strong. Yes the dirty politics is something which I do not support but deep down her being self centered is might be because of her past.

Also down the lane I feel she would be a supporter of mishti when it comes to support DIL. Once she would know how mishti is she might have change of heart. Also there are chances more than Abeer it would be Mishti who would always be supporting her saas..what are your thoughts?

Also I would appreciate Rupal Patel playing the role of Meenakshi with such an ease. She is playing the negative character so well that we are actually hating meenu..

Like you said, you have to be strong, rigid even when you have to raise not just two boys but family too especially when you are a woman in a place like rajkot(lets assume its not a metropolitan, people gossip there)

Meenakshi Rajvansh is a bitter woman like she did mention to Bade Papa in the temple scene. She had to save her family and assume(she did forsake her husband or husband forsake her) Whatever the case may be , she does feel abandoned, not being chosen, not being made a priority especially jab vo said person ke sath bhaag ke shaadi ki thi.... And koi bhi ladki kab bhaagti hai jab pitaji ni maante...so this is a woman who was scorned by two men important in any girl's life. So in her mind she's compartmentalizing her actions to be justified. And then her own son doesn't listen to her..Meenu pagal ki tarah behave kyu na kare...lol

She knows ki power sab kuch hai..tabhi usko sabne rakha hai..so she doesn't want to be powerless,she wanrts gaya/bakri bcz of that. She couldn't let herself be vulnerable like that ever again.

She is paranoid, has unstable relationships and is desperate to keep Abir with her. Doesn't trust her own family.Might leave her if she's not needed.

# this is all from meenu's pov...we dont know the whole story but uske actions yahi suggest krte hai and nanu ka kuch b bol na pana b isi taraf ishara krta hai

Now comes Mishti who is also head-strong just like Meenakshi herself...taking action first- crossing any boundaries for her loved ones --for what she feels right- Meenakshi would have been in awe of her but its the fact the girl is loved by her foster parents. The things that might break any other normal girl doesn't break her. That infuriates her more than anything , that what is so special about this girl? She cant be threatened, she can't be subdued, she has the support. She has everything Meenu wanted. no wonder she wants to destroy her.. but here comes the tricky part..She is going to end up destroying herself.. because uski khushiyan Abir se judi hai and Abir ki Mishti se....

and this is the reason i have much more respect for Bade Papa than Nanu. Nanu apne purane kiye ko 3rd generation ke thru theek krna chah rahe ...

Ps: not condoning namesakes actions. Its just nanu needs to mends things with her and baba needs to come back on the picture. Fr koi hope bachcho ki zindagi shanti se nikalne ki

Yeah it did feel like that meenu (i hope I can call you that, i am Anu) lol but everything you analyzed seems to be accurate.

Very true ..I would like to add something

Meenu took the control of the family at the right time...the success that they enjoy today is meenu's hard work...

But sometimes success makes you bitter than wiser...that's what has exactly happened with her....now she is so much into that power and control that she dosent want anyone who is a threat to her position...she has sensed Mishti is a potential threat and now with Abir loving Mishti...she is scared ... already Abir and meenu were at loggerheads and with mish in life...she fears she will lose Abir forever.

After watching this show ...j am like...forget looking out for a man...I will look out for a good mil😂
