So England are the winners of a the cricket world cup, what a humdinger of a match! The game tied and even the decisive super over tied!!. Not a match for the weak hearted and so, so unfortunate for New Zealand who played like champs but England got lucky, winning on scoring more fours in the tournament. England are deserving because they played good cricket for the past few years but our hearts go out to New Zealand, well played!👏. Too much excitement in one day, what a finish in both Tennis and Cricket!

Wah.. wah .. what a day it was!!Both games were well fought, suspense thrillers, check the strength of our nerves!! At one stage, people were standing in between the living room and drawing room to watch both the thrillers!! The house has reverberated with excitement and shouts! 😲😃. The dinner was extended up to 1 am last night. 😊

Novak's match was very difficult to watching. He did not really play the best. This was said Novak later in the interview.

Yes Nado, the crowd unfortunately made of the elite were very partisan and at times Novak did not give his best against a formidable opponent like Federer but was superlative overall and deserved his victory!

England was playing superior cricket for the past two years but there were too many glitches and doubts in the finals, wish it was a straight forward victory, here it felt as if they snatched victory from a deserving New Zealand, but as a saying goes in India, jo jeeta, wohi sikandar, the one who wins, is the king, hard luck to New Zealand.

Today is Guru Purnima, the day dedicated to our gurus, teachers/guide, when we express our gratitude and love to them for guiding us in our journey, it is a time for receiving blessings and expressing thankfulness.
