Don't kill me for saying this guys, but I think this is heavily photoshopped. This photoshoot was taken in mid-December and we all saw Sweety in end-December in Jaipur...

There is a lot of bodyshaming going on Twitter when she came for the funeral yesterday, and I feel this shows humanity in its worse avatar - shaming an actress for her weight.

The baffling thing is, S looked like an angel even in that plain while salwar and grief stricken face! I don't know how anybody can even comment like that.

In the middle she did lose a lot of weight.. But somewhere she is gaining again.. Which is why I am confused...

But whatever it is.. body shaming anyone is beyond any crime.. I hate that...

Meenu I have some theories about this.

1. There is some hormonal imbalance that S is facing the last few years, possibly due to the weight she put on for size zero movie. The argument that Bhumi Bhednagar etc did that and safely came out it doesn't fly with S, because in a woman's body, age plays a critical factor. For example, this is the reason there is a nagging compulsion in society for women to have early wedding and a child as soon as possible because it IS true that a woman in her 20s springs back from delivery trauma and weight much easier than a woman in her 30s - this is just how it is. Bhumi was 24 when she put on weight for DUM LAGA, S was 33 when she put on weight. Nine years is a huge difference when you consider the female anatomy. I know I am just guessing here, I could be totally wrong, but I feel like this, coupled with her back injury, messed up Sweety's metabolism.

2. I am also guessing that S may have thyroid imbalance, looking at her neck. Thyroid imbalance if S indeed does have it - is a bloody awful thing to have because it screws up everything, especially it kills your metabolism. That is why I am sad that Sunder Ramu has to release those pics that showed S's face so slim. The jawline cannot hide the truth. Compare the jawline of S in those pictures and in Jaipur because the photo shoot and the jaipur wedding happened in the same month. In the luke coutinho pictures, Sweety's face looks lean and sculpted. We know that's not the case because a few days after the photoshoot we saw S live in Jaipur, and her face was NOT like that. That jawline sharpness and angle we saw in the pictures can be achieved only two ways camera angle/photoshop or facial reconstruction surgery.

3. Now I am thinking two things could have happened:

a. Sunder ramu took those pictures, if I am not wrong, for a coffee table book project involving Sweety and Luke. It is very common for pictures, especially when celebrities are concerned and especially when a coffeetable book is concerned, to be photoshopped. That's how the book looks so polished and smooth, nobody can avoid this step in publishing business. And It mostly doesn't become a big deal. Unfortunately S is cursed with a group of body shaming trolls online, always looking for ways to demean her, so the difference between pics and reality could not be brushed under the carpet.

b. Perhaps the thought process was like this: it is now common knowledge that S was undergoing that weightloss treatment in Austria (Luke Coutinho has a facility in Austria where he consults with all his celebrity clients, including Shilpa Shetty and Madhavan, the holistic treatment starts there but can be followed from home, so the customer does not have to stay in Austria for months) and showing steady progress, so Sunder Ramu and LC may have thought, pretty soon she will lose facial weight also, so by the time the coffee table book comes out, S will look as slim as the photoshopped pictures are.

The mistake - IMHO - SR and LC did was to release the pictures too early on twitter - am not sure what the hurry was, they could have waited till the book was published. Because nobody anticipated the death of arundhathi's producer, and that S would attend it just a week after under Ramu's pictures went viral, and it became evident that reality is different.

Again, all said and done, this is all nobody's business. S has achieved such great things in her life, she is such a great human being, it is very very unfortunate that S is having all these issues, when it should be her personal business on how she is taking care of her health and dealing with it. Instead we have the whole world watching and body shaming her and doing all sorts of nonsense. But I guess that's the life of a celebrity.

As S is not reacting at all in any way to all, but then that's always been her trademark attitude and silent reply... she didn't react even when people were connecting her with Nagarjuna AND his son, yuk... so I think we may assume that she is not really bothered about all the online trolls and body shaming, which is a good thing. May be it is just us fans who love her are feeling so hurt by all the negative comments. But I have to say I am a bit puzzled by this big gap after Bahubali, both professionally and personally. She is going to be nearly 38...
