While Dev also mentions that their mother actually do wait for Maan while he had no idea but its difficult for him to believe Dev.

Dev has noticed the change in Maan and he ask if there is a girl but Maan denies

The moment Dev says maybe Maan's girl may also have a crush on him making Maan furious and possessive and he tells Dev not all girls are after him while Dev is happy that there is someone in Maan's life
