Saloni Khanna joins ALTBalaji’s Coldd Lassi aur Chicken Masala

MUMBAI: ALTBalaji is soon launching its next big web series titled Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi is making her web debut with this project. She has been paired opposite none other than the charming Rajeev Khandelwal.
The series, produced under the banner LingaBhairavi Devi Productions, is presently on the floor, and the cast will soon shoot in Baroda.
Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala is said to be a mature love story. It is an emotional tale with a tinge of comedy, penned by popular author Jaya Misra.
TellyChakkar has already reported about talented actress Navneet Nishan being roped in for the series.
Now, we have learned that model Saloni Khanna has joined the cast. She is playing a character called Manira, Rajeev Khandelwal’s business partner and friend who comes down from London to run a restaurant with him.
We buzzed Saloni but she remained unavailable for a comment.
Coldd Lassi aur Chicken Masala will also feature popular faces Barkha Bisht and Maninee Mishra.

Rajeev Khandelwal, who is popular for films including Aamir and Table no. 21 is ready for his upcoming film Pranaam, helmed by Sanjiv Jaiswal. The film narrates the story of a peon’s son, who aspires to be an IAS officer and how turn of events change his path leading him to turn into a gangster. The female lead of the film is south actress Sameksha Singh.
The director Sanjiv Jaiswal said, “I couldn’t have found a better actor than Rajeev who suited the character perfectly. His character starts with a naive middle class boy who wants to be an IAS officer and turns into a rugged gangster. He slipped into both the characters with ease and actors like Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Singh and Vikram Gokhale have added the needed grit into the drama.”
The film is being produced by Anil Singh, Nitin Mishra and Rajnish Ram Puri under the banner of Rudraksh Adventures Pvt Ltd. Apart from Rajeev Khandelwal and Sameksha Singh, The film also features Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Singh, Vikram Gokhle and Aniruddh Dave in vital roles. Pranaam is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 9th, 2019.
