Dhoni in other games too refused to give strike to other players and because of it India scored less. They still won but because of other players not him.
But today they needed him but we get another guy jadjega who comes at 8 and scores big, takes all the pressure on himself while mahi squints and wastes ball after ball like it’s a test match that too when they’re chasing 🤨
Rohit Bechara was 37 runs away to break sachins world record. He should’ve done so in last match kyunki kab pata nahin race se hi team out hojaye 😂
Pandyas best is only 48. He can’t even score a half century. Only thing he had was strike rate which they needed of all days today was the day to score fast. Out toh isse waise bhi hona hi hain. Faltu mein balls waste kiye woh alag.
But don’t you know mahi has to take two, only he should be on strike 😂 like the other guy can’t take a single. The other dude even hit a boundary.
When it was time to take risk with jadgeja he wasted balls and in the end was in a hurry to score 😂
Even vs England he was behaving like he has ample amount of time, taking singles in last over 🤨
Dhoni didn’t make that partnership alone. Jadeja did all the heavy lifting. He took all the risks while mahi mostly played dot balls or singles. He’s supposed to be one of the best and he can’t make runs under pressure otherwise he’ll get out?
Yeh kaisa best hain? Can’t make runs otherwise will get out. Let’s put all responsibility on jadeja. Of course he’s gonna get out with so many risky shots and he had to take those risky shots because they needed to make runs and his partner wasn’t helping much, do you see?
Instead of jadeja it should have been dhoni to make those runs or at least make as many. If he did they would have won but he waits till last over and then gets out.

When it was time to take some risks he played safe like 200 balls pe 50 banene hain when it was actually the opposite.
Rohit has made 5 centuries. Rahul too scored a century. Virat has also scored 5 half centuries. What has mahi done in this World Cup?
Others have one bad day and guess what? They lose because others can’t score.
Take out Rohit, virat and most likely they’ll lose.
Although winning and losing are part of the game but today’s loss was very saddening. It’s like the top 4 batsmen didn't even try. Kohli, Rahul, Rohit made just 1 run each! Kartik wasted 20+ balls before scoring a meagre 6 runs. The way the top batsmen played today was as if they were the 7th/8th/9th lineup of some weak team.
If anything, Pant, Pandya, Dhoni and (mainly) Jadeja scored some. They would be under immense pressure when the openers performed so poorly. I mean 5 for 3 in semis is unbelievable. 240 seemed like such a doable target to chase. I was so sure that India would win the semis.

I SO agree with you, I am so pissed off with the team's performance. I know, winning is not everything, but come on dude, what has happened to Dhoni? Even against Pak, he scored 1.
Sometimes I feel like he has lost interest and is playing for the heck of it. Retire ho jaao yaar, who has asked you to play??
