Though Prerna isn't worth discussing Erica playing such a poorly written character very beautifully and with conviction is definitely worth mentioning👍🏼.. If it's not for Erica, Prerna's character is nothing to even look forward to in the show.. Looking up to this character is a far cry.. It's more about how one should not be is what we can see from Prerna Prerna is completely troll worthy.. 🤪

Anyway Erica deserves every note of appreciation 👏 While every other character in the show has sometime or the other, well written to portray, this character gets worst of all from the beginning, be it her character growth, drama and dialogue.. Whatever limited scope the character gets, Erica uses it well and adds her own flavour to shine as Prerna🤗.. Erica's Prerna makes her lovable amidst all of Prerna's stupidity.. ❤️

We shd understand this story is not about just prerna. It's like laila majnu story. Story revolves around anupre's love. In the love story, more emphasis on being lovers n not on any other responsibility. I doubt u will ever get what you are looking for.

I have a million issue with her characterisation.. but how can viewers call her betrayer and dishonest?

Am I watching a different show or Am I being partial?

Suchi...this is exactly what i wrote in one of my posts today morning. I can't understand why the writers have never bothered to show Sharma family concerned for Pre. Neither during NB track, nor during her stay in BB during Komo track and either now when she is missing on the day of her marriage. And above all, Pre's child which in a real life situation would have been a sahara or anchor to any mother who pass through such kasauties, is being shown as only an object whom Pre reminds only during her revenge with Komo or while bargaining with Bajaj. I sometimes do doubt whether KZK is really EK's dream project where instead of building up a woman's character, she is ruining it day by day. And to add to it, in one of her tweets, she has clearly objectified Prerna to be tossed between Anu and Bajaj, which was not at all expected by a lady who talks about women empowerment 24/7. In the quest to show an emotionally strong Prerna who can even put her life at stake whether it be for her family or for her lover, Pre has been shown as a totally dumb person, which for sure is not true about a new-generation girl. Hope by the end of Bajaj track, there will be an improvement in Pre's characterisation.

But Hari....that is not how it is with Anu. Anu's relation with all his family members, even with Sharma family has been well sketched and portrayed till now. Leave Anu, even Komo's family is being shown to be more concerned for Komo than Sharma family has been for Prerna. The way Mr.Chaubey was shown to fall ill after Komo left and the depth in which Ronit loves Komo and is behind AnuPre for his sister's death, the writers have never bothered to show the same with Pre & Sharma family. No need to use Sharma Niwas every time. Atleast, it could have been shown Sharma family members calling Pre and enquiring about Pre's wellbeing. Even today, noone is shown to be enquiring about missing Pre, even when it is shown that rituals in BB have already started. Which is why viewers like us feel that Prerna is just a showpiece for the writers because of which there is no development in her characterisation even after 200 episodes.

Pre is not here only for bajaj anu..... They should show her as a individual character

They have badly butchered her character 😒 all her innocence and purity is made into sheer stupidity now 😭

For prerna to retain any sense of self respect and needs to her out this marriage with Bajaj that she has been forced into.

She can then think about what her options are won’t her baby and it’s father and building a career for herself. But she needs to fight bajaj and leave tbe marriage at the earliest opportunity.

Hmm you have a point atleast on this moment. Poor writing I must say. But they r showing komo family hving concern as a character which is required to connect with bajaj n anu. Otherwise cvs use komo family too at their convenience. For eg. Now mishka is no where to see.

Also, for prerna character to grow, it required time. I am hoping after bajaj track, her growth will start. Infact it shd grow otherwise story won't b interesting.
