South Cinema is the worst thing in India - Page 2

Not all South movies are worse its Bolly which hand picks the worst ones to remake and leave out gems coz they are too difficult to comprehend for the demography bolly caters 😀

Not when Bhojpuri cinema exists. South cinema is a lesser of the those two evils atleast But I get where you are coming from. What I find really interesting about South cinema is that it functions on extremes. The very good or very bad. They innovate so much,I haven't seen any industry I know of in India which innovates and has the freshest takes on that stalest subjects done right. Their movie making is a form of art itself. The way they make extremely spontaneous and feminist romantic and drama takes is refreshing for someone like me. They excel in this form of cinema.

But at the same time there is south cinema where so much unconsented touching,heroines used as props and objects,slapped around,pushed, emotionally abused and manipulated esp in those comedies and just about any romantic track in the movies. It almost seems normalised in a way that the heroine too doesn't react that much. Its considered part of 'wooing' or 'making the heroine fall for them'. The borderline obsession with a waist of the woman is simply too creepy in some movies. The comments on flab or love handles,and also pinching them at places... Its weird and problematic to see. Most women in big hero helmed action movies are treated like they are dispensable to hero and their treatment of them is not even humane. But it's so normalized that it's not really a problem to the woman in the movie.

The worst thing in India, IMO, is its rape culture...

Now where does it emanate from, how family dynamics, general demographic structure, mysogynist conditioning and several other factors contribute to it is a matter of debate...

Whether movies ( both North and South) aggravate it, get inspired by it or both feed each other is worth a debate...

toh apke movie choices galat hai. BW like to remake worst of worst south movies and you like to watch them😆

BW even remake dirty comedies from south and wahan ki joker yahan ki main character/male lead bann jata hai and top most A list actor plays that male lead😛

Both industries have good movies and bad movies. But Bollywood only remakes the bad ones. Whose choice?

There is no south industry... I for one love Malayalam industry where nepotism doesn't work n every good/bad/ugly/bald looking actor/actress get work... Almost all the side actors do leading roles too... N people love their superstars but when one of the most loved actor was accused of crime everyone went against n supported the victim.

I love my mallu industry n is very proud of almost all the movie, it's not as rich as bollywood/tamil or telungu industry bt the content is way better<3Amost all the movies are family friendly n so malluish <3

its people problem if they take movies seriously lol. Movies are fun to watch and entertaining. SJWS wanna ruin mvoies too but thankfully it has not happened yet
