Anyway I don't think she will turn black again... The whole drama is going to shift tracks now.. So saas bahu and samdhans drama will no longer be required. Everyone will remain positive.

Also I differ slightly with other sentiments here. Mohini is accepting her mistakes, acknowledging she lied about the necklace thing, tried to separate anu pre and apologised to everyone. That's actually not whitewashing. It's a proper apology and she deserves to be forgiven and given a chance.

What happened with mohini during Naveen track was kind of a whitewashing and escape. This one, not so much.
