I feel the entire Tamil ponnu fiasco was over exaggerated... when I watched the replay I feel what Madhu meant was that it looks odd to me as a girl... Abhi over exaggerated it and Kavin/other hms blindly supported her...

If u watch that scene again Madhu was talking to Fathima that she didn't like it and has put forth her opinion... Here is where she could have told 'as a ponnu' instead of 'As a Tamil ponnu' and stopped then and there ... But I am sure Abhi would have made a fuss even if she had said that... It was Abhi who started shouting after everyone had calmed down... That girl is a true attention seeker...

Madhu too could have simply shared her opinion once and shut up... but madam continued her moral policing which is where things went wrong...

Madhu's "tamil ponnu/culture" is being taken way out of context I feel. It looked like she only mentioned it in a colloquial way, as in "namma way of life'kku ethu set agathu"..Madhu also clearly said, movies are different where censorship happens unlike TV reality shows. Also, in movies, ppl know they are acting vs in reality shows are suppose reflect life.

I don't find anything wrong with ppl using your country/racial identity. It is your identity afterall. In countries like Singapore & Malaysia, everyone is identified by different races and racial differences are celebrated.

It only is wrong when it is used for racial discrimination which I didnt see happening in yesterday episode. Now a days, the moment you identify yourself as a part of a racial/religious group, everyone is just jumping against it. For me, the context and intent is important.

For course, if Madhu continues to use it to preach or defame others, she would lose my support.

I found her talking about her crush on the first day when cameras are all over with random strangers she has only met very odd. Or even saying that to Kavin also odd.

But this baby with mugen isnt out of character for her - and isnt a crime for madhu to jump on at all. as kamal pointed out it is a plastic bottle why are they so serious over a joke?

I think initially madhu’s intention was good. When abi reminded FB to talk abt the bottle baby Madhu asked her not to say as she felt it may not go down well with certain audience. I still give her a benefit of doubt that she said “ tamil ponnu” in a flow when asked .. Abi and co made it a big issue with the tamil card .

In my opinion both are wrong. Abi for saying that “ u assasinated my character in TV”. She is in a reality TV show and if her act has been telecasted different people would have formed different opinions abt her. Then can she go and ask BB why did u assasinate my character by showing this ?

Madhu is wrong abt saying “ tamil ponnu and culture” dialogue. Other than that she just voiced out that what she felt abt the act. Like how abi has the right to do whatever she wants Madhu also has the right to voice out abt anything happening in the house as long as she is a part of it .

At one time vanitha said “ I don’t understand what is the issue” .. when someone doesnot understand what is the issue then why should they pass judgement on that , is beyond me.

Everybody said Madhu not to judge someone yet everyone judged Madhu and passed the judgement .. Here too I found lot of them judging her based on the roles she has done in movies which I feel is not correct.

if Madhu has used the tamil card intentionally even then it is her choice to use that card and it is up to the audience to decide on her stay.

Actually I didn't like the way Vanitha was arguing with Madhu.. She even said not everyone has happy married life like, u r blessed in that case and we can't say what'll happen in future nu.. It went too personal attack.. Vanitha eppavume ellaam therinja medhaavi aattam pesuraa..

Btw, I didn't judge Madhu with the characters she played.. I just quoted and answered.. But I didn't like those so called comedy tracks in those movies.. They can atleast have choice to avoid doing such roles/scenes naa..
