My friend, people are who they are. Movies can influence but the individual already has those tendencies, thoughts, belief systems, way of looking at life. Someone who doesn’t have those set of beliefs won’t see it as okay.
Point being the guys who are gonna be influenced were/are already misogynistic, abusive. They don’t need a movie to show them that it’s okay. They already believe it’s okay.
It’s up to the individual what he sees and takes from the movie. He ruined his life didn’t he? so you can see it as a lesson on what not to do or you can see it as cool.
In game of thrones, incest is shown and it’s a big hit. How many are influenced by it? How many now want to have sex with their brothers, sisters? Only those who already have those tendencies.
And these kinds of people exist in the society and from their point of view they’re right so why can’t they show that? Yes this kind of guy does these kinds of things. Was it shown that it’s okay to do these things? He slapped her, she slaps him. Now people are gonna make a big deal out of slapping like in dhadak like it doesn’t happen in real life?
The hero has to be all good? Or if he’s like this then he deserves a miserable death and that should be shown? Because anything else isn’t acceptable.
Hannibal eats people. Tomorrow you’re gonna start eating people? Only if you’re cannibal you’ll do that.
And this justification doesn’t fly either that others are more heinous crimes and that’s why they aren’t doing it. No, people with those tendencies exactly do that. Again they don’t need a movie like sarkar to do it.
They feel a sense of power and associate that power with the mafia, don. They’re drawn to those characters.
We should also blame narcos then? How many people are influenced by narcos which is a real life story and exactly tells you how it was done. How many people are gonna go and carry out those things? You’re gonna blame the movie, tv show for it whenever someone does something?
The way I see it this is just an IN thing. To be pc, feminist, woke, etc.
no one gives a phuk about people killing each other or drug dealers or how many shows we’ve on those and how they’re influencing people or not because it doesn’t fit their agenda.
I see now two groups defending their point of view and feeling very righteous doing so.
You don’t have to fight or give any energy to that. You’re only wasting your time and energy.
Movie has made money, people have liked it. Society is misogynistic or whatever and you don’t like it but this movie isn’t the real issue nor is it gonna do what you think it’ll.
People see what they wanna see. What I see and take from the movie will be totally different what someone else might.
This attitude of injustice, revenge mentality isn’t healthy imo and I’ve read your other posts and I know exactly where you’re coming from but that way change won’t come.
And this guy is agreeing with it because he already thinks like that so it’s not like he had a different set of beliefs and the movie convinced him now that it’s okay. No he always thought that way. It would take the collective consciousness to change that and that’s not gonna happen because majority are on the other side.
I’m not gonna start harassing people, bullying them unless I already think it’s okay. The movie shows it and now I’ll start doing it like I’m a 3yr old, that’s not how it works.
He also harrases and bullies other people but no attention is given to that because you only see injustice towards certain section of people or gender. This is also a movement in collective consciousness and they tell you how it’s okay to be a victim, take revenge, hate men etc.
It’s all propaganda so please don’t buy into it.
The girl doesn’t say anything so she becomes a doormat just because she isn’t acting how you want her to act. There are women who like dominating men, who want them to be possessive not abusing but dominating.
But now we’ve men who are just becoming pussies because they buy into the propaganda, have to be woke otherwise people will judge them. You guys don’t really get consent either. There’s always a fine line. A girl says no to me, i back off and few minutes later i kiss her and then she’s okay. It’s all about communication. What she’s communicating. For some of you it seems playfulness, flirting doesn’t exist.
Oh she said no and you better be a gentleman and show her the door otherwise you’re this and that, fill in the blanks. That’s not how real life works nor is it always a yes/no thing. There are hundreds of things going on under the radar, subconsciously and what she’s communicating subtly. You can feel it.
Now I don’t know how this knife scene is presented but apparently they were gonna have sex before this scene and knife was used to undress her before she decides to change her mind? There are nuances you know.
Anyways I know it won’t be a popular opinion in this woke culture but you don’t have to be a pussy in order to not be a creep. You don’t have to have the same thought process as some women like you are supposed to be this way otherwise you’re not okay.
Everyone is different and people like Kabir singh exist in real life but now what I see is that everyone wants men to be this way like you should now cook or be a house husband or you should be okay if your wife sleeps with another man like in manmarziyan. This is the ideal guy. This is now being fed, going from one extreme to another.
Let me tell you men don’t want to be like that and more importantly women don’t want a man like that. Deep down and in real world they don’t. They want a masculine man who isn’t abusive unfortunately most men don’t know how to be that. So they’re dominating but also abusive and guess what many women will actually accept that and be with that guy instead of that sweet nice guy who she friendzones because that guy doesn’t do anything to her, that guy doesn’t make her wet but the other guy does.
So that’s how women are hardwired and i see men going from one extreme to another. From this nice guy to this asshole guy. Nice guy shtick doesn’t work for him and he sees the asshole has the girl that he wants so he tries to emulate that.
Not because it’s shown in some movie but because he sees it irl
So you see it’s all connected. I went from one thing to another, don’t know how much of it will be heard but I’m coming from somewhere else and hopefully you can see that. It’s not us vs them. It’s all of us 😘🤗
