Don't worry about the late response. I can understand. Once you are in the flow and the flow breaks then it's sometimes difficult to gain back the momentum.

Dejaaaaa. How are you đ Sorry for the slightly late response.. I remember almost more than two weeks ago I typed a long post, which vanished.. I felt so sad I just left and didn't make any further attempt :p And then slipped off the grid..
Kalank title, you know, for some reason I don't listen to it often even though I love it.. I showed it to my mom, she loves it a lot. There are those songs that for some unknown reason, you don't play them often, even though you love them, how does that happen?
I don't know. With me this happens when I squeeze out a song so much by repeatedly listening to it, that after a few days singing along the song again feels like a drag or sorta restrictive in terms of energy, so then I let it go and revisit it later when it calls out or the song revisits me when I'm in the state of receiving the song wholeheartedly again. đ
Another reason for me is that I love sooooooo many songs that I have lost track of all of them. And like I said above when the song somehow revisits me, I remember how much I love this song. Then again I listen to it to the point of saturation and rinse and repeat like above.
Deja, mind-fu ckery indeed! So true so true..I always feel that this is one of the sad realities of life and love. You may love the other person a lot, but can never fully see, understand or take away their pains, and they may love you a lot, but they can never fully see, understand or take away your pain.. maybe get/give solace - I guess if one can achieve that with a loved one - silently understanding while not really understanding and being an easy or comfortable influence in each other's life would be the greatest benediction two people can have... but still it scares me so much, the inability to make your loved ones feel 'protected' or hold their hand inside of them..
I guess the best thing to do would be to just be there na? Sometimes we aren't looking for solutions all we need is a bit of comfort and support I feel. Because no one can really understand what anyone is going through. Even loved ones for that matter. Because whatever pain and suffering someone is going through is theirs alone, only they know, understand and can make sense of it. All we can do is just be there if and when the said person needs some assurance and support maybe. And vice versa. I guess we discussed this once, you remember? The sharing silence part?
Now... I'm reminded of this song, the beginning line :p we're changing the track of conversation here wee bit, the general meaning of the song is different, although I think it can change to fit different contexts? đ..this is a special song Deja..

ALD, I'm trying to make sense of this song, but I'm not able to yet quite understand it. What did you take out of it?
In terms of feel. I really liked it. It has a certain silence waali quality to it. You know just like the part that we discussed above. It has a bit of melancholy along with a calming and soothing effect to it as well. It has put me in sort of this zone.

The weather is supporting it as well. This song would be perfect for a drive in the rain, with the world passing by. I want to go on a drive now.
@ Koi Fariyaad... no yaar :O ..I love it, but for some reason, it wasn't played much in my childhood.. IDK how or why, but somehow I didn't listen to it much when it released.. so maybe that's why it doesn't evoke a strong reaction within me, but I do love it. maybe just not as much passionately? :D
Even I never listened to it in my childhood. I first listened to it a few years back, but somehow it has managed to carve out a special place for itself.
About Jubin.. oh :( ..I haven't listened to him much but as far as I've listened of his playback, my admiration for him didn't sustain as well. Come to think of it, gotta start listening to latest tracks, albums.. have you listened to any new songs this year?
Talking about Jubin, let me come to Sanam. I'm not quite sure if I quite like his voice or the way he sings, however I really loved this cover by him. And this is also one of the new covers I listened to this year. Loved it. Love the female vocals and the chorus as well.

đ
Arre I had put this song before as well, at to be very honest I was a bit perplexed when I didn't get a response from you on this song that time. Because I was dead sure you would like it. I guess it might have missed your periphery somehow.
IKR!! I loved the male vocals. When he starts with, "Suni nahi, jamane ne teri meri kahaniyaa" Dead! (ToT) I love the music bit from 1.12 to 1.30

The girl is Momina Mustehsan. She had become quite an internet sensation when she appeared on the Coke Studio with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the Afreen Afreen song.
The most underrated song of this amazing album. Gives you strong feels. I miss Mohit Chauhan.
