May be the film is misogynistic. May be it has high adult content.

But still there must be something which got connected with the masses. Or else, it would not have been this big. Congratulations to the team. Everyone (story, music, actors) must have put their heart into their work. Or else, this connection was not possible.

Why are women drawn to the film?Is it because,they are tired of seeing coming of age metro sexual roles in BW films?They want raw passion.They want to believe that doctors/engineers also can be Devdas, like the way urban poor or rural men are shown in films?They love the bad guys?

I haven't seen both films.Hero slaps the girl.Is he gentle in the sleeping scenes.Is he emotionally or physically abusive with her.Does he cheat on her during the time they were together?

What complaints does she have against him..I am told that she fires him at the end.What does she forgive?

You should watch the movie. You'll get all the answers. She had reasons of getting mad at him and also had reasons to forgive him. Just watch before writing down essays or putting so many questions.

Shahid is a hardworking guy and a very talented guy he deserves all the success. After lust stories I really wanted Kiara to do well commercially as she has it in her. I want to see more of her. Hope she gets good offers now. Happy for them.

Though some scenes really disappointed me. But the end message is don't be kabir singh.

Wow, people here love to overeact - somewhat spoilers below

He asks her everyday what body part shes studying today and based on her response he sneaks her out and gives private lessons, where he draws on her arms hands etc...... But then one day she says that its her upper thorex (chest) that is being studied today and he does not give her a private lesson.

That scene where he holds a random woman to knifepoint and asks for more - he was HEAVILY drugged and drunk. What else would you expect from someone who is not in their right mind. The girl doesnt comply and throws him out.

You have to understand the arc of the character.
