Apart from ram Sita, lakshman, Hanuman are most lovable characters...

Ram has only one wife that's Sita... Soorpanaka lusted seeing RAM... Out of anger, lakshman chopped her nose .. she wants revenge, so she filled ravan ears about Sita ma beauty... That's where important track of Ramayan started...

I dunno which valmiki book said that ram have many wives.... I tried reading valmiki and kambaramayanam... Tulsidas( I heard bit exaggerated... But I didn't read... So I can't comment) I have no idea ..
