Yes very little of Darcy and Lizzie is shown in the novel.. sad that its the same in the movie too 😢 Thats why i dont see P&P as a lovestory.. rather its a nice novel about life in that era. Well apart from being bold and intelligent, Lizzie was beautiful too so its not a case of loving only coz of brains 😅😅 The latter is very very rare in literary( as well as cinematic ) world . The opposite is equally true haha. Handsome men are more common than not-so-handsome average Joes.

I do read historical romance books like of Lisa Keyples..But writing is normal..

No yaar.. I don't find old writing style odd. I actually really like it! 😀😀 All 19th century novels are like that only.. Jane eyre is no exception.. but I still love these old-school novels..! Mainly because I find old England so charming ❤❤ dunno why. 😍

You stopped reading after 1st page ? Then I think classics are not ur cup of tea..
