It should have been expected, that with the hatred Sheetal has for Khushi, she'd keep a close eye on things to make sure things were going according to her plan. And I'm sure she has plenty of little birdies to keep her abreast on whats going on.

But why would Arnav sign that agreement? He doesn't seem like the kinds to get pressured into doing something he doesn't want to, especially when it comes to business. Is it to lull Sheetal into a sense of complacency while he sweeps the rug under her feet? She's doubted his words, and tried to force her hand, and the shark that Arnav is supposed to be cannot take that lying down, can he?

The next three weeks are going to be emotionally hard on Khushi. Now that Sheetal has reminded Arnav of their deal, he can't possibly go on as before, and will likely create some distance between them, as seen by his last texts...

I could go on and on speculating :) But I'm going keep shut and wait for the next update... I'm having such a great time reading this...

Arnav had to face Sheetal/the impending vote-deal sooner or later. He was reveling in his new relationship with Khushi but this jolt did wake him up.

Like you put it, Sheetal detests Khushi and this time she has been planning in advance. She is going to play this very carefully. She did ambush Arnav with the agreement. About Arnav's reaction (or lack thereof), more on it in the next chapter.

(Won't say more lest I give away something :D)

I'm really trying to update asap but some or the other thing is getting in the way. I plan to put up the next part real soon. Keep these wonderful (or any kind of) feedback coming!

Arnav was sidelining the main issue, while developing this new relationship with Khushi but now it's back. Sheetal ensured that she had him cornered, by making him sign the agreement. Now we'll have to see how it all unfolds. Khushi is yet to know about all that's happening behind her back.
