The role will be an extended cameo at most so don't think she will promote the movie. Ranveer and the boys have been the focus since the begining.

the movie is about the 83 world cup, and a part of the world cup is how it impacted not only the cricketers lives but also the lives of their families, here is a recent interview of Romi's where she described her experience during the world cup, Romi also talks about 83 the movie
in this interview deepika says one of the reasons she is playing romi is because she has seen her own mother go through similar experiences when her dad was playing badminton professionally, deepika connects with the role on a personal level, she wants to show that having a supportive family system is very important for the athletes
