You did ask a question as to why the pair was underrated. I answered why I felt why as did others. I thought you would be open to all sorts of opinions since you were asking. I did not know you only wanted to hear those that agreed with you. Noted for next time. Peace!

I didn't deviate from the topic. I spoke about the 90s where both Salman and Karishma acted. I spoke about the comedies Karishma was a part of. Were you spreading negativity when you said you didnt like Hrithik's acting in super 30? I did not know kicking someone off a thread was permitted on open forums.

I think Karishma is the actress Salman has worked with the most?? Am I right? I don't remember him doing as many films with any other actress...

They were paired in a lot of movies so don't really think they were ever underrated. He probably is one if the few she acted almost till she took her first partial retirement from movies. They can't be paired now coz 1) Salman moved on to current generation actors. 2) Karishma is not highly ambitious regards to movies. Maybe they can someday be paired in some webshow.

@Bold Exactly. Arre even after dish tv started then also their movies were always played. 😁 Also, I think all of KJo's movies are trash compared to Salman-Karishma films. At least theirs were entertaining. KJo films make me puke with their over dose of drama and superficiality 🤢

Until I came to this forum, I used to think DDLJ was also underrated in comparison to KKHH because that kkhh keeps getting played and mentioned more than DDLJ. But here ppl claim the opposite, and I am glad DDLJ getting more recognition than kkhh. I think when it released, DDLJ was obviously more success, but now when it comes to tv, kkhh gets mentioned more or claimed to be this super successful movie. I think it’s all because of Karan Johar.

TBH, the only jodi with Salman that I've liked was Madhuri, Sonali, and even Kajol. Lol. Actually, I rooted for Kajol and Salman in KKHH so hard. I even liked them in PKTDK.

I think Karishma looked better with Aamir personally. Although Karishma did have a few good decent performances, I found her to "overact" when she was with Salman. Maybe that was the role but I wasn't a fan.

biased thread with lot of wrong information.

Not ALL films of theirs were hits.

Infect first two movies of salman karishma been paired as romantic duo were salman's BIGGEST FLOPS.

JAAGRUTI 1992 was a massive flop. While NISHCHAIY 1992 that was released just after 2 weeks of JAAGRUTI is considered THE BIGGEST DISASTER of salman's career till date...salman mentioned it himself in a funny way in dus ka sum.

Rest all films they did never had any potential to their pair to be shine...also chal mere bhai was another flop, although not as massively flop n disasterous as JAAGRUTI and NISHCHAIY was.

Karishma is very over rated here on IF...she was a HAMMING QUEEN till early 2000's.

Even salman-Raveena had much better chemistry together in their only movie together PATTHAR KE PHOOL than salman lolo couple, tbh.

Due to many things:

Karisma was liked more with Govinda (as they had a good camaraderie while dancing and had more iconic movies)

Due to not being linked together in real life (if they had been, they would have been mentioned in many articles)

Due to not doing proper romantic movies, comedies people don’t remember for pairings!
