Yes I have seen their movies constantly been played when I used to have cable. If they weren’t loved, their movies wouldn’t been played all the time till now. Their movies have an extreme repeat value. They are very entertaining. Plus Both Salman-Karishma have been loved since 90s, so it makes sense.

Until I came to this forum, I used to think DDLJ was also underrated in comparison to KKHH because that kkhh keeps getting played and mentioned more than DDLJ. But here ppl claim the opposite, and I am glad DDLJ getting more recognition than kkhh. I think when it released, DDLJ was obviously more success, but now when it comes to tv, kkhh gets mentioned more or claimed to be this super successful movie. I think it’s all because of Karan Johar.

Many do love them. I know few here who are fans of this couple. I love their chemistry. Karishma was my most fav actress of 90s. I still love her and wish her the best <3. I think most 90s kids do love them, but they aren’t mentioned as much as Salman-Ash in the news/articles. Here though they do get mentioned when it comes to Salman’s best chemistry threads.

Yes I also feel Salman and Ash are remembered more because of their controversies.

Just saw the pics. Wow <3 And the first pic is such an iconic pic of theirs. It’s posted everywhere whenever there’s talk about their movies and work.

@bold I think it's because they share a great bond with each other. Salman has gone on record to say that Karishma is his favourite (Kareena was annoyed by that lol) and Karishma has said that she's far more closer to Salman than Kareena.

It's not about movies aging well most of Anil-Sridevi movies haven't aged well either except Lamhe. But there was something that gelled so well with them I can't explain it. Sadly Salman Karishma don't have the same appeal atleast for me.

Fact is, pairs in romantic movies will always trump pairs in comic movies even if the latter have more chemistry together. I don’t think Salman Khan & Karishma Kapoor did a purely romantic movie where there was scope for their chemistry to shine. HDDCS was a romantic movie with a lot of scenes for SK & ARB’s chemistry to really shine.

Yeah I can understand what you're saying. Also, I think Salman-Aishwariya are talked about and remembered till date because there were many controversies surrounding their relationship.

Salman-Karishma have done only one serious romantic film together - Jeet- which was in the 90s. I haven't seen it.

That’s true. Now that I see their hands’ position. They do seem super closed sitting. Me neither. I never get why they didn’t date. I wish they dated as many wanted them to. They would’ve made a much better couple than how Salman was with others or how Karishma was with that ex-husband of hers.
