The vedas were written by the rishis. Are you aware of that? The rishis were the highest class of men in that time, the scholars, the pundits, if you will. The vedas were written primarily as a code of conduct for Hindus, who were basically the residents of that particular land. The rishis were evolved men who understood the value of cleanliness, hygiene, morality, as well as basic economics etc. They were looking for a way to communicate the same to the common folk. Instead of saying "keep your house clean because it is good for your health", they found that saying "if you keep a house clean, toh usme Ram basenge" more effective. That is how Ram became the symbol of everything pure. This is one example. Otherwise Hinduism believes that we all come from energy and go back into energy. There is a higher power, and that is also energy. Our various Gods are symbolic manifestations of that energy. The world we see is an illusion. Therefore the vedas also say "if you believe in one god, you are a Hindu, if you believe in several gods, you are a Hindu. If you don't believe in god, you are a Hindu." Being a Hindu is primarily about conduct or karma. Not about who you worship. Our scriptures are many, but none of them claim to be the one true message from God. None of them say "go out and spread this truth, convert the world to this one way".
It is hard to distill Hindu philosophy into an IF post, but it is a fascinating and rich religion.
u say "bhagwan ko to rishiyon ne banaya tha". to fir rishiyon ko kisne banaya tha? ola-u-uber ne?
and i have read enough scriptures to understand hindusim and its philosophy.... and everywhere it states that the universe emanated from God the par-brahmn... and only after the creation of time, space and universe did any any living or non living entity come into existence ... including the humans and rishi munis who u credit with the invention of God.
maybe u will do good to brush up r basics abt hinduism before mocking others of having little knowledge or their sources of knowledge.

Yeah, you're the only sane one around without ant agenda. Clearly seen from your first post.
Yes, it really is tough being sane one when most people are too dense to see and understand what is happening in the world 😏

If i were as dense as that jihadi bibi, I would've called you a rapist supporter for that post of yours. But I am not her. Anyway, I think I am done for now. The field is open for all you jihadi and khalistani supporters. Have a good one.

why are u so fixated on whether rape occurred or not? is the removing of uterous, genital organs kidney, upper and lower intestines not enough brutality to be enraged upon. secondly, if raped has not been proven it hasnt been disproved either.. furthermore with the kind of mutilation and decomposition of the body it cannot be proved either...as is being suspected. also the accused has been said to have raped his own daughter too...so yes he does has a history of raping....
and as far as i remember people were rallying for the support of fair trials not not for saving the real criminals cos they believed that the accused were being wrongly framed.... which is why the case has been transferred in Punjab, if i'm not wrong.
the cctv footage was from an ATM with a time stamp that showed the accused in another city, around the time when the incident took place.... i know u will say that the evidence must be doctored but then if u can question the evidence then other people can question the kasmir police's theory too... let the court decide and then i'll happily support in whivever punishment is meted out to the culprit.

I agree, I find Hindu philosophy and ideologies to be really efficient and inclusive of all biotic and abiotic componets as we worship air, water, fire, sun, plants and animals. It is all about giving respect to the ecosystem we are part of and this is something I really admire about this religion. I am an atheist and don't believe in any Gods or godesses but I can see them as symbols or metaphors for energy(which runs this universe) and our nature. People make fun of hindus for worshiping cows but I can understand why we do so. Cow is an animal that feeds the entire world before feeding its own baby so what's wrong in giving it the respect it deserves.
Sadly most people (especially religion fanatics) don't understand the true meaning of the religion they claim to protect😒

oh really? I challenge you to find this anywhere on google. woh to free hai na. aap bhi velle ho. dhoondo.
ek aur baat batati hoon. Hindu philosophy talks about mind vs intellect. Mind= the knowledge and thinking we form based on primary and secondary knowledge, that is, what we perceive and what we are told by others. Based on that we come up with a set of rules, primarily concerned with what we CAN do. How does the world work, why does it work that way. This is "mind". This is what separates men from animals. But what makes a person evolved is not the "can". It is the "should". SHOULD I do this? This is called INTELLECT. This is what Hinduism tries to teach you to develop.
So dear IF member, are you comfortable with your intellect? Are you more concerned about what you can do, or are you thinking about what you should do?
And maybe, just maybe, pick up the Gita once in a while. Veda toh door ki baat hai. Bade aaye Hindu dharma ke rakhwale.
oh hello. .. u have got ur basics all wrong dear.
according to Hinduism. atma or soul powers the body and mind and mind is not equal to "the knowledge and thinking we form based on primary and secondary knowledge" 😆 rather mind is what contains knowledge.. Mind exists without knowledge but knowledge cannot exist without mind...for ex. in amnesia or psychological disorders mind may exist without knowledge of self or other things.
mind is mann, intellect is buddhi, and knowledge is gyan... these 3 are totally different entities .
so dear member r u really comfortable with ur intellect or would u like to sharpen it some more with the help of some knowledge from a few more scriptures or even real life experiences? your mind would still try to persuade u in a different direction, i must warn u in advance 😆
