The exit of Komolika (Hina Khan) and the entry of Mr. Bajaj has become the talk of the town.

Many popular names were considered for the role of Mr. Bajaj in the show, including Karan Wahi, Siddharth Shukla, Arjun Rampal, and Milind Suman.

However, media reports suggested that handsome hunk Karan Singh Grover had been locked as the face of Mr. Bajaj. However, rumours have it that the makers are still hunting for the apt face to portray the iconic role. Apparently, KSG is expecting to be paid higher than the other leading cast members of the show along with a minimum guarantee of shooting for the maximum days in a month.

TellyChakkar exclusively reported about the makers approaching Harshad Chopda for the role.

A source close to the project revealed, 'While Karan is expecting the production house to fulfill these clauses, he also wants to put in limited hours of working a day. In a successful daily soap, where the stakes are so high, it becomes difficult to bend the rules for just one person.'

We hope that the makers find the perfect actor to portray the popular character.

The success of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 seems to have started the trend of the recreation of iconic shows.

The latest addition to this list is Zee TV's popular show Jamai Raja (Grazing Goat Pictures Pvt Ltd), which featured Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma, and Anchint Kaur in lead roles.

A little birdie has whispered into our ears that the makers of Jamai Raja are planning to bring the show back. Rumour mills also suggest that the makers are keen on retaining Nia Sharma and Anchint Kaur in the upcoming version of the show.

After Hamari Bahu Silk and Aghori, Zee TV is making way for some more interesting content on the channel.

The latest update is that renowned production house Big Synergy Media Limited will be producing a new show for the same channel.

Namish Taneja roped in for Colors' Vidya

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with some interesting updates from the television industry.

Colors is bringing a show based on the social subject of the importance of education. Meera Deosthale of Udaan fame has been reportedly roped in to play the titular role.

Now, the latest update is that Namish Taneja of Swagini fame has bagged the lead role in the project.

A source close to the project said, 'Namish will play the character of a district manager who would help Meera in her motive of spreading awareness about the importance of education.'
