EVMs were tampered. I know. Otherwise, UPA would have defenitely won.

Actually even now, more than 50% of India did not vote for Modi. (Not all people voted & BJP did not get ALL the voter's votes).

Rahul Gandhi has still won a seat from Kerala. So did Owaisi & Azam Khan.

Is that sufficient for consolation prize ?

Now please go on continuing. Muslims will be lynched. Godse temples will be built. All Gandhi statues would be gunned down etc etc.

The biggest fault of Congress is making Rahul Gandhi their face. Till the time Rahul is there, Congress will not win any election nor will it come out as a strong opposition. The distrust among people towards Rahul Gandhi is huge because everyone knows he is not capable no matter how much he improves. Congress should get done with him and bring in someone competent enough to be the face of Congrass. And stop with the dynastic politics. I mean they have literally put competent politicians like Sachin Pilot and Scindia in the wings like some background dancers.

How much in your opinion Modi dominance is due to following factors. Can you put a percentage to each. I want to take opinion of a balanced person from India

1. Hatred of Congress, dynasty politics, italian heritage etc etc

2. Appeasement of Muslims, closet hatred of Muslims, insecurity due to Muslim rule in India

3. Pakistan and its effects. Only country specific not because of religion of Pakistanis

4. Economic model of gujrat / current performance / good economy

5. External script. Timing of attacks before elections like we have seen in other elections.

6. Less corruption compared to earlier

7. Religion card

Can you put a percentage to each out of 100? Add more if there are any or remove any factor or just give it 0 percentage. Above is my assessment. I think its a mix bag of all factors but I cant put a number to it since I am not Indian.

Note: Some of these things were mentioned in TIME article. But I hold the view as well.

Why though? Sure Scindia and Pilot are educated and presentable. But the only reason they are there is because they are sons of MPs. They are as much a symbol of dynastic politics as RaGa is. And all these competent leaders like Scindia, Pilot or even Shashi Tharoor stood by Congress, when they did all sorts of scams and unconstitutional things back during UPA-2. Congress has deeper problems, RaGa is mostly a result of it.
