Sridevi or Madhuri? Who is India's Most famous actresses of All time? - Page 5

I have always liked Madhuri, so for me it's Madhuri.

Sridevi is GOAT. Those who watched her south films will never compare her with Madhuri or anyone else. I like her better than Madhuri even in dance. The only thing Sridevi lacks is social skills which can be ignored.

Sridevi for sure, for a while there I thought Madhuri was good but nah she has limitations and most importantly she is bland offscreen and seems to be under confident in what she wants to portray herself as, her scripts show as much because Sridevi would never have done a Kalank in the manner it was written for her character and Madhuri was abysmal.

I m mid 90s born and I grewup watching naagin series , chaalbaaz, Mr.india where she stole the show from Anil, lamhe etc. Sridevi vs madhuri was a fight in my home as I liked her and my sisters loved madhuri. Sri is equally known to our generation

Sridevi hands down! There are no other actress like her. She was a complete package and was magical on screen. She could sink into her characters so well. Her face was so expressive and she emoted so well with her eyes. I remember Shekar Kapur in one of his interview said that when filming the song Hawa Hawai, he wasn’t sure whether to focus on her face or her dance moves. She was excellent in both and he didn’t want to miss anything.

Madhuri is known for her dancing but is far behind in terms of acting. I watched more of Madhuri’s movies than Sridevi but Madhuri never impressed me with her acting. No scenes of hers stand out and I feel like she is easily overshadowed by better actors. She failed in her comebacks by doing the same dance numbers. I also find Madhuri boring on screen. I don’t see that spark in her.

Madhuri wouldn’t have elevated EV or Mom if she were in it. Bucket List proves it!
