Madhuri for me.

She was amazing in Tezaab, Dil, 100 Days, Saajan, Beta, Anjaam, Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Raja, Koyla, Dil to pagal hai, Pukar etc.

She wins anyday over Sridevi for me

Well no offense to Madhuri but she cannot play the role of Shashi like Sri did ..Sri lived as Shashi

While Madhuri stuck onto roles that were more about dance n didn't experiment much with her roles but Sri did all.

I don't think Madhuri can do that charlie chaplin act or hawa hawai act from Mr India..Sri was iconic in that !

Will go for Sridevi, if I am given a choice to pay for either Madhuri or Sridevi's movie, I will choose the latter one. Sridevi had already past her prime when I got to know about her and watched her movies, and compared to her, I have never found someone so talented and endearing from the rest of the bollywood actresses. She was and is known for being an all rounder, she has done almost all kind of roles, heck she even made a silly naagin movie watchable on er own. Her death was a shocker, and I still feel extremely sad whenever she is mentioned and cherished for her contribution to cinema, wish she would stay longer and not go away like this.

On the other hand, I love Madhuri too, she is gorgeous and a great actress which nobody should deny given her track record, but I just like Sridevi more. Madhuri is an inspiration too, she conquered Bollywood, married an outsider, came back and is doing great in both Bollywood and TV. She deserves equal respect as Sridevi, both are icons and I believe none of the current female actors of Bollywood can ever achieve what Sri and Madz did.

If you talking about Fame, obviously Sridevi bcoz she was popular even in South.

Acting wise, each one has their strengths and weakness. I dont think they can be compared bcoz what one does, the other cannot do and vice versa. I dont think Madhuri can pull off Charlie Chaplin act of Sridevi but I also dont think Sridevi could bring that grace that Madhuri brought in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.

I've never hears of Sridevi until joining this Forum last year. There are many more foreigners like me that know of Madhuri (especially from Devdas days) and never heard of Sri.

Even I knew of Madhuri before 2015- when I actually went for my first Indian movie cinema experience.

So, Madhuri.. worldwide. Sri can have South India. Or pan India , whatever.

Sridevi for me has the most unique style and persona, she's pure magic on screen. Other-worldly. She is flawless. But Madhuri Dixit is equally as talented and is the most popular actress of all-time.

This is like comparing garlic naan and garlic bread. They're both amazing.

But Sridevi hands down. Better actor, and just some ethereal sort of presence when she acted. It was always a pleasure to see her. But Madhuri is no less. It's safe to say that there will neither be another Sridevi nor Madhuri ever again.

Madhuri cannot act, she was terrible in KALANK, and almost all of her other movies. Sridevi knows how to act.

I’m a Madhuri person more. Objectively their may be people who don’t pick either as India’s most famous actress of all time. Like people who every heard of either and just heard sunny leone 🤣
