And why did he think, that Prerna's feelings for him were so shallow that she can easily move on.I mean she just lost her dad,she didn't need to be mocked and ridiculed in front of hundreds of people by the person she loves the most.
On the other hand,if he had confided in her and like u say,she would asked him to marry Komolika at least she would have been spared the feeling of being used by him and belittled by him.The knowledge that he loved her would have at least given her some peace of mind.
