Maybe allow outsiders like Kriti to be part of more meatier films. It's no good comparing her to Alia and make her look irrelevant where the latter is scooping up all the best projects and getting to show her acting potential because the roles are so strong. You cannot compare an Udta Punjab, Highway, Gully Boy to a Raabta, BKB, Luka Chuppi. The difference is huge so comparisons are unfair.

To be honest Kriti can not pull off what Aloo did in Udta Punjab, Highway or a Gully Boy. She didn't even look convincing in BKB. Aloo is a privileged, ignorant, spoilt piece of shit but she is a good actress. I agree that script and a well written character is important for an impactful performance but that is not enough. A good actor can play with nuances even in simplest of roles. Kriti is a below average actress and that has been proven with whatever chances she has gotten

True that.. The moment Kriti starts coming across as insecure, desperate to be a part of Kjo gang, there comes Alia to her rescue jiski waja se bechari masum kriti is forced to do all that "major eye rolls"
